I'm Asian in San Diego... and for a long-time, I always felt like gay guys down here were more into "Southeast Asians" than Asians... Southeast Asians tend to be darker, and the guys down here seem to like that more. I was wondering if it was because there are so many Latins down here and Southeast Asians are more like "brown boys" (and I don't mean that in a negative way). I'm ethnically Chinese, and lighter skinned than I would like to be I never actually voiced any of this to anyone... they were just my own private musings. And then I happened to chat with a gay Vietnamese guy, who kind of said all the same things to me... and it felt good to know that I wasn't the only one who thought that. But overall, I haven't really felt much in the way of anti-Asian vibes from masseurs here in San Diego.
