Agree, I had a situation where as a client I had an appointment set up for the next day. That same night I got word my Aunt had passed away and I immediately went into planning travel mode to attend the funeral. I had almost forgotten about the appointment until I was in the airport. The appointment was still a good 6 hours away and I texted with what happened. I soon got a call where this douche bag was yelling at me and that I needed to provide him a photo of the death certificate or some proof. I apologized for canceling but told him I don’t owe you shit, fucking nut job. Dude has some serious issues. I realize people cancel and flake and play games, but that’s no excuse for being an ass. I would have sent him a pic of my ticket if he had not been so demanding.

I agree, the dude is a scam artist, and don’t let those giving you doubt on how the time passed by get to you. It does happen and we are not all perfect. Glad you stood up for yourself. I’m a big dude and if they threaten me, I would say really? Might want to rethink that.

I certainly applaud resistance too, but as a client, it kind of seems like I’m the one bearing the brundt. Here is what I know, if you think that by raising your rates you’ll get a higher quality client, you might be surprised. What the hell does that mean anyway? Each guy has to figure out what’s best for him and his business. Some can command a high rate. Others cannot. And some have regulars he would jeopardize in losing without some discussion. Sorry, but wages have not caught up in corporate America and the working stiff hasn’t seen much over 2% in years. And if drink the koolaid that the temporary tax cut and permanent corporate tax cut will mean higher wages, for most it won’t. Keep up the good fight, I don’t like, nor believe these laws will save the intended and instead will get overturn as morality legislation. Of all Presidents, the one who hires does this.

I have met Chase a few times when traveling to Chicago. He is not bald, does wear a hat, and looks better than his pics. He isn’t ripped, but has a nice, toned body and is a cool guy. I would see him again. We did talk some training and he gave some pointers which was a bonus.

I actually appreciate the information on ones to avoid, so long as the reason is valid. If it's just a matter of a situation where it wasn't a good fit, then take that with a grain of salt, it's the ones who would steal, potentially harm, etc that I like to avoid.
