I finally got back to Paradise today, my first time visiting since the remodel. Things do look better- walls painted, ceiling fixed in the wet area, all new wood in the dry saunas, plus some other cosmetics updates. Not sure it's worth $10 more per visit, but the look of things isn't why guys usually go there anyway. That was evidenced again today. Some of the usual Friday afternoon crowd, plus some new guys.
 
It does seem like the vibe has changed, less worry about discretion. Different staff guy (very cute) walked through a few times, not seeming to care what he may have seen. PM if you want additional info.

Booked a 90 minute massage and it was a very, very good massage (one of the best I had in Chicago). Great hands and massage became more sensual. Pics are very accurate. HE was fantastic. I will say that his table is not the most comfortable but it is extra wide. Massage was in the nude. MT was allowed and HE was really nice. It seemed for a second that it might become a bit more intense - which would have been fine by me. Pics are accurate - he's a solid guy for sure! Will most likely go back. He is a sweet and kind man.

Massage is in his studio apartment but the AC/Heat unit was a bit distracting. Also used some combination of oil and lotion that clumped up during the massage. Overall it was fine with a nude massage with torso/body contact and a playful HE - but not sure if I would rush right back. He has a great body (pics are accurate) - just not sure there was the same chemistry.

Description is off - ad claims 190's but he's a big guy so that's off by a few pounds. also. the pics don't show his whole torso so that was also a bit off. Started the 90 minute session with a "scrub" which really felt like I was getting into a carwash. Massage was done nude but it felt like limited MT. When it was HE time, it was really "meh". Thinking that there just was no connection and I was in between appointments for the day. This is probably a "won't go back" in my book.

Since I asked a question earlier concerning Alex, it's only fair that I follow up with a brief recount of my experience. Alex and I were able to get together when I was recently in Chicago - twice!!! For our first meeting, I experienced travel delays on my way in and Alex had something come up unexpected with his work, so our first meeting was much more brief than I prefer, but that was no one's fault intentionally. Alex was warm and conversational the entire time we were together. It was such a fine time -even if it was brief - in our first meeting, that I made a point to schedule a second meeting later in the week when we both had more time for an extended session, and it was absolutely beautiful, hot, passionate, and fulfilling 3 hours!!! Hudson Grace on Rentmasseur is my go to guy in Chicago. He is one of most friendly and approachable guys I have found.

I was interested in hiring Mark (SoTe), but the conversation I had with him online turned me off. I decided to contact him through Adam4Adam a week before my trip to Chicago in March so that we could chat instead of exchanging emails. I waited until I knew exactly what my availability was before asking for specifics. He mentioned that he was in Oak Park and could not host but he could drive to my hotel in River North. I asked him how much it would be, and he said:
 
"160 therapeutic massage
That includes travel & parking fee
If you want something more sensual or erotic that's more"
 
When I asked him if the 160 rate was for one hour, this was his reply:
 
"I find guys want and trained talented therapist who understands the body AND can make you feel amazing and satisfied. I do both but I need to be compensated.
I hate when guys just expect a hand job or a fuck for free."
 
I had never mentioned anything more than a massage, though it was Adam4Adam. I apologized for wasting his time. Seeing the comments from @Jacque, @Capitano, and @JBrian72 confirms that I made the right decision. There are too many really good therapists in Chicago (see my post #54 in this thread) to pay rates like that to someone who thinks he is the only one.

Saw Mark once. Descent massage but basically tried to top me several times to the point i had to end it. i wasnt there to be a bottom, i wanted a relaxing massage. He should try to escort more.

What a flake, how difficult is it to mean what you say and say what you mean?
 
He might be better with outcalls in LV but when he travels and you try to schedule an incall, it can be a total runaround. I am still not sure what his issue was.
 
My first attempt to schedule a 90-minute appointment, sent around noon, waited for his answer till early evening and the story was "I can only do 9:30 PM or later."
OK, I ask: "are you sure you won't be too tired for a 90 minute appointment?" to which he says "oh, no, no problem," so we schedule 9:30-11 PM. Just when I am about to get in the car, I get a message saying that he may be able to do only 60 minutes. No explanation, but OK, I suggest that we try the following day instead, to which he agrees.
 
The following afternoon, I text asking about his availability. He gets back to me after another longish delay, and we agree to 7:30-9 PM. This time, I am already in my car when I get another message "hey, I may only be able to do one hour, I hope that's ok." WTF?! If you don't want to do 90 minute appointments don't list them in your ad. And don't agree to one at 6 pm only to change your mind at 6:15 pm. And what's up with "I MAY be able to do only 60," you are either able or not and you should know it. Sorry for trying to spend at least $220 on you, my bad!

That said, he gives a Grade C massage (has no training). You not only have to finish yourself, you have to start yourself.

That's definitely him, though assuming the pics are more recent, he's buffed up a bit more. Nice guy, trained but found massage a tad mechanical. Nude. H.E. even more mechanical. Haven't gone back but have thought about a 2nd try.
