Updating this thread!  Namwa - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.  Used them 2x - and the whole process could not have been easier.  Ended up going with Kento and Wataru - both were great, very limited English but have great bodies.  All in all, it was much needed stress release in between sight seeing 😜

I also had John and the massage was very meh. Thera gun and I was face down the entire time.

C'mon that's more than an adequate tip!  If he wasn't satisfied, I would never return.

For Namwa, I went with a safe choice with Shogo to start because he is listed as an english speaker and had a really good first experience and it was easy to communicate. 
I also tried out Jio if you want someone tall and to tower over you ;). Also a really good experience and worthy of the gold star status. Both were incalls so I wish I tried an outcall or the BJ to staff option. I added the testical stretch option and it was just okay, i wouldn't really recommend that for the price and would stick with the energy up or body reset. 

Utagane was a pretty good recommendation too, would recommend Fudo at "Protect Body" if you venture out to Osaka. 
Redline was my least favorite, 5 minutes of massage and then it was just an escorty experience as mentioned previously. Would have preferred more of the fantasy element and the build up, tbh.
Didn't get a chance to try out i-Land as a comparison, so maybe next time.

It was slightly longer was with the testicular stretch add-on, did a 100 min plus the 40 minute add on just to see what it was like, but it didn't feel very sensual to me.
Do upgrade to energy up or body reset!! I had tried both and they are both very very enjoyable. I imagine the regular massage is just a HJ at the end and you can do anywhere else.

If you don't mind, can you PM me details about your experience with Kento? My fomo/regret was not trying out the outcall or the BJ to staff options. With the incall, there usually was another room in the place and another masseur with a client in the other room so I don't know if that affects their behavior. If you do an in-call though, they have an annual Namwa magazine you can pick up and it showcases some of the other masseurs with their face pic in case you go for a second round with them.

Precisely.  Nothing irritates me more at the K Spa near my house than cruising.  There are places for that; NOT the K Spa.  

I’ve recently made the switch from hiring off of MF/RM and started to scope out local establishments and independent providers instead. Talent started to dry up on the main websites and I was getting tired of overpriced and unskilled guys.
I’ve had a decent amount of luck just going with the flow and it leading to more with about a 60% - 70% success rate and learned a few things along the way.
1. A Google/Yelp search for male massage therapists was helpful in first finding independent therapists. Social media searches can be helpful too.
2. When possible I cross referenced online to see if I could find any social media that led me to see if they were on the same team as me and surprisingly that was usually pretty easy to confirm - I found this to obviously increase chances of something going further. It’s obviously much less likely from a “straight” provider but I can’t say it’s never happened before.
3. I never directly ask beforehand or during but instead just let it progress - there are ways to give subtle clues without being obvious and I’ve found this to actually be more stimulating for me and to limit the risk of crossing the line and being turned down.
4. Soothe/Zeel is much more hit or miss and again I’ve never flat out asked because I understand the risk - I’ve just let it progress and if it goes there it does. My success rate via these apps is much lower, probably in the 30% range but I’ve found this to increase with repeat visits.
I find this whole thing much more enjoyable than using the sites as there’s the unknown of what will happen which makes it more enticing.
My last hire was in Phoenix on a work trip and it worked out really well. I’m also decently hung which has been helpful here too 😂.

I’m with you. The thrill of the unkown definitely intensifies the session! And even if I don’t get the happy ending, I would be satisfied nevertheless if I got at the very least a killer massage.
