I had mine cut in Illinois the second day after they were allowed to reopen. No one could wait inside, appointments necessary and barber and customer wore masks. They clean the chairs after each customer. But I think they could have done more. It's been 3 weeks and I am fine. I gave my guy a larger tip (he is the owner) to try and help out for the lost income. I think now I will wait another 3-5 weeks.

The trial in Chicago mentioned that they were looking for some people 65 and older, however, mainly Black and Latinx populations.

Well, this would have been IML weekend here in Chicago. So odd to think of Memorial Day weekend and no leathermen causing trouble up and down Michigan Avenue. Yep, just got it today. It was a very old password, so I didn't think it was real but was not going to send the bitcoin. Figured it would just escalate the blackmail if it was real. Ironically the camera on my laptop was not working for Zoom I discovered but i finally like two weeks ago figured out how to enable it. For years I had a piece of paper over the camera and it wasn't even working. Guess I will go back to that practice when not using Zoom.

In Chicago, one would be hard pressed to find anyone to hire one things were in "back to hiring" stage if that is a criteria. Even one my faves AlxWard appears to be working. What makes me wonder is, are they getting clients? If so, how are they not coming down with COVID? Surely if they did, they couldn't work as they would be too sick. Perhaps they are all on PrEP (Truvada) which was being touted as a possible drug to use. Just speculation. Today our Governor now announced that the peak for Illinois is mid-June. First was Easter Sunday, then mid-May, now mid-June. Restaurants cannot open up for full service until June 26 AT THE EARLIEST. Worried about COVID but also about how Chicago can survive that long?

I retired from a long career back in December around the holidays. So fortunate that I do not have to work or go back to work (public municipal service) when my former employer reopens. And I have a well funded pension so receiving money. My investments were on the safer end so not doing badly. However, I too feel like life is kind of meaningless. Some days I get a positive frame of mind and do things, but more often than not, in a low grade funk. While I have always slept in and took naps on days off, I now feel like I could probably sleep most of the day. I echo Unicorn's statements about his pleasures, etc and to be honest, I cannot see them coming back for a long time.

Could we get the full picture of that, with you just wearing a jockstrap and boots along with the helmut and jacket?
