I think in porn it has to do with walking barefoot around the set. You would think they would just wear those ankle socks until they hop into bed. I've always been a bit turned off too. I have to say that I am always amazed at how many gay guys really get off on BO, funk and man smells. I am the opposite, really like them clean and prefer the smell and taste of soap.
