Going forward massage client appointments will always take priority. If the Ec client doesn’t communicate or confirm the day of I’ll book someone else. I am just used to when a client wants a appointment they book and show up. I am still new to EC style of services anyway.

I could not have said it better than what you just said. The client in question that did not show up just emailed me back with just “sorry “.. No explanation on why he flaked.

Actually there’s tons of guys requiring a deposit. It has nothing to do about texting ; My gripe is a appointment is confirmed then a client doesn’t show up or even communicate they have to cancel. I don’t require a deposit for my massage services but for escort services I do as escort clients tend to be more flaky and have a track record of not showing up for me and every other escort that I know. not sure if you’re a client or not but if you didn’t wanna pay a deposit then I’m not the right guy for you it’s simple as that.

Today I had a two hour meeting that has been confirmed for about a week with constant communication not even show up. I am now changing my business if you want to book a EC type of service I require a deposit. I am sorry for the inconvenience this will cause some but I am done having people waste my time. I get it; in the heat of the moment and constant urge for instance gratification clients book and have intentions to show up. Then the idea of hiring someone disappears and decide not to be man enough to cancel. My escort service Business will probably take a hit in income as I require a deposit for all new clients but this was just one of the fires in the kitchen. I would rather make less money and have people who are serious then have clients waste my time. rant over lol

I always give clients a second chance unless they ghost or flake. If a client is a no show and they try to book again they have to prepay. Some of them do but most don’t. Just like a eye doctor or doctors office if you no show or cancel without proper notice they charge a fee. When it comes to EC clients I will only see 2-4 clients a week. If I am not in the headspace I won’t book any clients as my Massage business keeps me very busy as well as managing a photo studio.

lol Dear Oaktown you are still bringing this up after 5 years?? I amended for my ways and errors years ago and apologized that I was not on time and made you wait outside of my apt for 5-10 mins as I wasn’t ready. I apologized to your numerous time and even sent you messages (You actually blocked me ) to clear the air for your grievances. Can we just let it go and move on. It’s been half a decade and I am tired of apologizing for making you wait 10 mins.

Here is the funny part; The client states he dialed the code ( He did not). Now he's asking for " Complimentary hour for free" because I didn't buzz him up... I have a feeling this client's MO is to flake on a provider and then ask for a free hour.

Here is a mini-rant, I have been a massage therapist for about 8 years or so. I relocated from LA/SF to DC to help take care of my mom who is suffering from lupus. I started Escorting on and off for a few months. I just don't understand people; I was scheduled with a client and confirmed today. Fifteen mins ago he said I was flake because I won't give out my apt number to clients off of Rent.men. I have had issues where clients would be high or just creepy. As a business owner, I can dictate my hours and how I operate for my own safety. When I confirm with a client they have my address and the code to buzz in. I always meet the client in the lobby for the safety of both of us. I am starting to question if I should even bother advertising on Rent.men. I never get this many no show or flakes practicing massage. I am pleading with clients if you have second thoughts, or you decided that you don't want to hire someone. Just send an email and cancel with notice. In my case, I am using this money to take care of my family and would rather book clients who actually respect me and my time. Thank you for the input. I will keep my chatting to a minimum now. Rule of thumb I always ask my clients if they like to talk and if I didn't I am sorry.
