TV ADS: THE GOOD, THE BAD, & THE UGLY
Nvr2Thick replied to samhexum's topic in TV and Streaming services
In its time this commercial was one of the most annoying ever, and it seemed to really strike a nerve with my friends and family. When my family is together it isn't unusual for me or one of my brothers to walk into a room, spontaneously shriek, and exclaim, "Honest, Sheriff! I didn't know the gum was loaded!" -

Mickey Mouse does not like Escorts at Disney World in Orlando
Nvr2Thick replied to InterestingGuy's topic in The Deli
If a hotel had the resources they could screen wifi usage to look for signs of trouble or activities they might choose to discourage. It's unlikely that they'd go to the trouble, but my paranoia let me to avoid a conspicuous presence on hotel wifi when I searched for escorts or Craigslist hookups while traveling. I've always depended on Internet access through my personal data plan either directly off my phone's browser or as a wifi hotspot. It's been a while since I've stayed at a Disney property, but when I've done so I've had no problem hosting escorts. I've also had no problem hooking up with other guests for discreet encounters. -
TRADING SPACES & WHILE YOU WERE OUT reboots
Nvr2Thick replied to samhexum's topic in TV and Streaming services
I watched the first three to remind me of how ridiculous these shows actually were. The "bad" designs are awful, and those rooms will clearly have to be redone. Even the "good" rooms have major elements that would only look good from a distance, and would have to be awful to live with. I can't believe that people will keep that terrible slapped-together furniture made from painted MDF. That might work for sitcom sets, but not real life. At least each couple gets a free chachke from Overstock dot com. -
Looking for Some Insight - Is This a Scam?
Nvr2Thick replied to + quoththeraven's topic in The Lounge
Usually they're working the law of averages, answering many ads and hoping to come across someone foolish or trusting. One big giveway will be if they never refer to the loveseat -- all communication is about the "item." They're usually cutting and pasting the same communication to multiple ads, and not taking the time to see what's actually for sale. Often the offer will state that they're shopping on behalf of someone else -- a son, daughter, brother, husband... I was once selling two concert tickets on Craigslist, posting the ad on Sunday for a Wednesday show. One of the responses I received was from someone who wanted to buy the "item" for her husband, who I should contact for shipping instructions by the end of the week. -

I think it was Roseanne Barr who described pro wrestling as softcore gay porn by men in women's bathing suits. Seems accurate, but the '90s were a strange time though... http://40.media.tumblr.com/683f56106879b3bbff19806f98067b1f/tumblr_nq5p99A88C1sg99p0o1_1280.png I mostly watched for the crotch bulges and hairy chests. For me it was a great match if Bill Goldberg or Rick Steiner wasn't on top of his manscaping. One of my favorite scenes from the WCW days was one when Goldberg was shouting down Rick Flair pre-match. It was a face-to-face close-up of Goldberg yelling some nonsense point blank at Flair, but Flair was almost breaking character and struggling not to laugh. When the camera pulled back you could see that Goldberg's sizable package was parked on Flair's hip and he was kind of humping flair with little jabs for emphasis. I was obsessed with Bill Goldberg for quite some time. http://muscleandbrawn.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/bill-goldberg.jpg

I had found this forum first. I checked out Boytoy a few years back when I first heard of it, and decided I didn't need two such sources. I've just spent the last half-hour or so reading through the forums. I don't feel that I've missed anything. Now I do know, however, where Adam Smith spends all of his time since being booted from this group.

A few guys who used to run Craigslist hookup ads or who would respond to mine have shown up with new A4A profiles recently. I've talked to a few men who said that they liked Craigslist because and now A4A because they didn't have to install a conspicuous phone app.

I only make mine if I need a place to fold laundry.

I wonder when the naked yoga, hot yoga, and goat yoga movements will finally converge.

It's more likely tied to the more recent usage of the eggplant emoji character as slang for a big dick in text and social media. I just thought it was interesting to see a guy post a new Rentmen ad with no way to contact him.

Interesting ad. I'm scouting for some future travel and tried to request his locked pics, but I could not send the message because "e-mail is unavailable for this user." I tried to do a phone lookup but "phone is unavailable for this user." He's been a Rentmen member since May 11. I guess he's just not cut out for this business... https://rent.men/ThickEggplant

The Mandarin Oriental in San Francisco, which is apparently now a Loews Regency had amazing views. Three years in a row I went out for "lost weekends" and stayed in a Bridge-to-Bridge view room. The hotel occupies the top eleven floors of 345 California Center in the Financial District, a building that was the third highest office building in the city. Bay views are only slightly obstructed by the Transamerica Pyramid building.

I was glad when the Will & Grace reboot backed away from major themes based on current politics. Let's hope that this one does the same. I find it hard to look at Candice Bergen's massively worked visage. Fortunately, Jake McDorman has been cast as grown-up Avery Brown. http://greginhollywood.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/Jake-McDorman-got-snapped-shirtless-set-Manhattan-Love-400x666.jpg

Drakex used to advertise as a "top." When I met him he gave the impression that he was a nonversatile "total top." -- at least with clients He's friendly and engaging, but not affectionate. Excellent body. He's very hairy though, and he had one of those extreme beards. I thought he was very handsome and attractive, but not everyone likes that look. He advertises as straight, but I'm sure he's not. It wouldn't surprise me if he's potentially more versatile and more affectionate if he's attracted to you.

Dunno. He was humorously ambiguous about Memphis...

That's how my Harley works. I'm not sure if they've changed it in recent years, but the key just unlocks the ignition. You can start the bike as long as the fob is in proximity, and then you can drive away without it. When you're a few hundred miles away and you shut off the engine you're screwed.

In fifth grade the big husky jock didn't have the arm strength to support his weight, so he suffered the humiliation of being unable to do much more than hang there with arms fully extended and his belly exposed. I'm sure he dreaded rope-climbing days the way a lot of us dreaded most of the rest of gym class. Worse, the rest of the jocks mocked him pointing out that "even Nvr2Thick" could climb the rope and he couldn't. I'm sure that he always singled me out as a dodgeball target for just that reason.
