  1. Craigslist was much more immediate, and free. A provider could spin up an ad in five minutes, and take it down immediately. It's a little bit like comparing a restaurant to a food truck. There was, however, plenty of opportunity to get to know each other depending on how much communication was permitted by the provider. I'm not saying this is a good thing, but providers advertising through Craigslist personals had the advantage of posting alongside guys who were just looking to hook up -- kind of like A4A. A client looking on Rentmen has made up his mind to look for an escort. Craigslist providers had the potential to capture the interest of guys who had been surfing for a hookup ad for hours, and who stumbled across an ad looking for "generous only" and might consider it. Back when Craigslist had their "Erotic Services" section I met quite a few great escorts who weren't trying to market a persona or build a career out of it. Often the guys were more humble and down to earth, and just oversexed guys. It felt to me more like if I had gotten real lucky on a hookup than if I was paying for a guy who was otherwise out of my league. Once the Erotic Services section closed the appearance of provider ads in the personals felt like an intrusion to me.
  2. Arrest records confirm age at 43.
  3. If IAFD is to believed, 43 years old. http://www.iafd.com/person.rme/perfid=bryceevans/gender=m/bryce-evans.htm
  4. When Craigslist ended their Erotic Services section it pushed services into the personals. This created a lot of resentment among some of us who used the personals to meet people or for casual hookups. I found a lot of ads that didn't disclose that they were for hire until you contacted them -- sometimes after they strung you along, or at the time that you met. There was enough contention among the guys trying to decide who was worth meeting without guys who attracted your interest and then said "generous only." Once hustlers started working through the personals some of them also started responding to the normal "men seeking men" and "casual encounters - m4m" ads trolling for unsolicited clients. I got into the habit of flagging every ad seeking generous and every known hustler, both to send a message and to hide their ads on subsequent searches.
  5. Some could advertise under "beauty" while others could post "antique" ads.
  6. Escorts may lie about a lot of different stats. They're creating a fantasy though, and if they can pull it off I don't mind. If I believe an escort is older than his advertised age because I know how long he's been around that's not a big deal. If I believe an escort is older than his advertised age because he looks haggard and worn that's a concern. For me, a guy who says his dick is 11 inches, and it's really 9 1/2 is taking advantage of artistic license. A guy who says his dick is 8 inches and it's really 7 is a liar.
  7. Masseurfinder likely changed their terminology to protect themselves in the wake of the Rentboy shutdown. They didn't screw things up -- things got screwed up in an ambiguous way, and they reacted by scaling back on presentation that could be construed as sexual. MassageM4M reacted similarly. It's also likely that Masseurfinder has been waiting to see whether legislation would pass, and had their plan defined in case it did pass. They wouldn't implement if it didn't pass, but they're taking a risk if they provide advance warning before they implement. These are actions of self-preservation. There's no need to demonize these businesses for reacting quickly to legislation that could put them at risk.
  8. What you're describing as whites flaking on blacks or treating blacks as disposable is true of the gay dating scene in general. It has been for decades. Young gay men can be very fickle and often play the field. The blurred lines between relationships, casual sex, and anonymous hookups make gay dating a minefield for everyone. I've known black and white gay men who date within their race, exclusively across race, or who make no distinctions -- and the same games are played. Young gay men dispose of boyfriends, they flake on guys with whom they had some apparent closeness, and they keep their options open.
  9. He did at one time. Difficult to find any evidence of activity now. My guess is he's retired.

  11. Do OnlyFans hosts have the option of turning off the useless Twitter updates? As others have noted on this thread, the OnlyFans updates that have nothing to do with content can clutter up an otherwise decent escort/pornstar feed. Some guys have pages of "I've just got a new #fan! Get access to my unseen and exclusive content at https://onlyfans.com/..." tweets (with the occasional "I am available now for the next 6 Hours on https://rent.men..." update interspersed) overwhelming their interesting tweet updates.
  12. One of the problems often has to do with crowdsourced map data. I live on a corner lot. My garage is on the alley behind my house. I've been using Waze to map my drives home, and have been going through the motions on Waze to mark my parking spot to close out the ride. Now, Google Maps, Uber, Lyft all show my address as along the side street, closer to my garage rather than at my front door. I've been told that by establishing my garage as my destination I've had an impact on the map data. Any time I use a gig-based food service or arrange for Uber drivers will show up around the corner from my front door. People live and die by these map apps based on Google Maps data. When they're wrong a lot of these drivers give in to confusion instead of using their brains. Because he couldn't cope with his delivery app's directions a Grubhub guy called from the side street in view of my front door last week. He had my street address, he was at the corner where he could see the street signs, and my front door has my house number in ten inch tall letters, but he couldn't deal with the fact that his app told him to arrive on a side street where houses didn't have steps or doors. I have a friend who has Amazon delivery problems similar to @LaffingBear . He orders a lot of business supplies through Prime. His address shows correctly on Bing, but it's off by a few houses on Google Maps, centering on a public sidewalk that runs from street to alley between two houses. Amazon deliveries end up at one of two incorrect houses, or just placed at the intersection between this odd little sidewalk and the street. He's gone so far as to place a sign on a neighbor's fence at that junction, and to put up signs at the two incorrect houses on their porches indicating (for example) "THIS IS NOT 415 ELM ST -- 415 ELM DELIVERIES ARE 4 DOORS EAST ---->". Packages are still often mis-delivered. I'm told that there's a way to establish yourself as a credible Google Maps data editor, and correct these mistakes. One of the Uber drivers I met has offered to straighten my address out for me.
  13. Only as a cock ring.
  14. The front room in my house is my office. When I'm working at my desk I have full view of my porch, front steps, city sidewalk, and street. A few years ago I was eagerly awaiting a guitar delivery from FedEx. I watched as a FedEx driver stopped in front of my house with a "signature required" package (a guitar) I had been waiting on that had an online "out for delivery" status, and then drove away without leaving the truck. Later the tracking app noted that no one was home to receive the package, even though I was waiting by the door. I'm told that drivers will do this when they're running behind schedule or when they don't feel like carrying a larger package to the door only to find out that they have to put it back on the truck
  15. I went in a ride once with two of my brothers to celebrate one brother's 40th birthday. I enjoyed the trip. It's a nice memory to look back on, and I have some good pictures -- somewhere. I wouldn't bother to do it again. The guy who took us on the ride seemed to have his act together. As passengers we had to be quick on our feet and help with some of the handling for the take-off. He was a little impatient with me when I snapped a few pictures. The landing seemed a little strange. He determined the length of our ride based on where we drifted. He had to keep an eye out for places to land along our line of travel. With open fields all around us we had to cut our trip short because of buildings along our route that limited our options. We landed in a parking lot. When the basket set down we had to jump out quick, while the pilot tried to keep the thing steady. Right after the three of us bailed he was directing us to help him bring it down, and the wind dumped the basket on its side -- hard. He was prepared for it. I could see how an inexperience passenger could have smacked his or her head on the pavement or broken a hand or arm. I can see how you could easily get hurt based on dumb luck, or an unskilled pilot. When you take a balloon ride you're putting your life in the hands of someone who may or may not be all that disciplined or smart. We did this at one of those once-a-year fiestas like in the video @marylander1940 posted. Balloon enthusiasts come from all over, and the ones offering rides all register with an organizer. When we walked up to that booth they assigned us to the next available guy on the list -- we did no vetting, and it could have been anyone.
  16. Within each ad the bodies just don't match. Tattoos vary and disappear on Juan's ad. Abs and navels don't match. Facial hair patterns, lips, and noses are different from pic to pic. Just sampling pics from Juan's ad -- reverse image search on the first four turn up four different models from four different countries. Three of Kevin's can be traced to three different male models. None of these pics are of Latino men -- they're Arab, Indian, Italian, Greek... I'd love to be able to say I've had experience with the dozen or so men that appear in these ads.
  17. Each of those ads shows a compelling assortment of pics from a compelling assortment of men.
  18. The study creates its own conclusions. Why is eye dilation an indication of anything other than eye dilation? If I watch a woman masturbate with a dildo and my pupils dilate who is to say whether that dilation is an indication of sexual arousal or some other reaction? Even if one could definitively make the connection between dilation and sexual interest in this study, wouldn't it be possible that a man who reacts to an image of another man masturbating isn't making a connection in his own mind between masturbation and any other sexual act? There are too many variables within the brain that might affect the dilation response to make a generalized statement about the cause behind the effect.

  20. Most if not all of Girth Brooks credits for the past 3-5 years have been rereleased scenes in compilation videos. There had been a bit of buzz a while ago about his marriage and retirement. I've heard a few stories about his availability to a select few as an escort, but these were second-hand anecdotes. I quick scan of his personal Facebook page suggests that he's moved on from porn. It's easy to find some porn stars' agency contacts. I'd imagine you could try to contact an agent to make an "indecent proposal" but it would be high-dollar and mostly miss in a hit-or-miss process.
  21. I wear a cotton undershirt, boxer briefs, and broadcloth pajama bottoms - long or short. I always like the initial feeling of climbing under the covers naked, but it becomes uncomfortable within an hour or so. Because my balls hang kind of low and loose they don't feel right when I'm sleeping on my side, and sometimes they get pinched as I move; briefs keep them secure. I must be high-maintenance because my shoulders get cold and I wake up when I sleep shirtless. I usually wear a cotton-lined neoprene sleeping mask. I fall asleep more quickly and stay asleep longer since I started wearing a mask.
  22. Around 6:30 AM. I'm sorry, did you mean today or in general?
