  1. I use a combination of Quicken and Excel. Quicken is my check register and serves many purposes: 1) can be tailored to meet your revenue and expense categories, 2) allow for split transactions (useful for credit card statements), 3) reports can be designed in many different ways, 4) allows for multiple accounts (checking, savings, investment, etc.), 5) reconciliation feature. It can do much more but is a solid program that meets most of my needs. There is a learning curve and requires you to input data. Im a retired accountant who used Excel extensively when working. Excel is a powerful software program that allows me to build projection models, I.e, future and present value calculations, what if models. Also, there is a website calculator.net that has a ton of calculators that can help you answer a lot of financial questions. Good luck to you. It’s tough getting started but worthwhile in the end.
  2. It’s the Kystle Carrington and Alexis Colby hour. 😂
  3. Tax provisions in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act WWW.THETAXADVISER.COM The bill extends portions of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, provides deductions to eliminate income taxes on certain tips and overtime pay, and addresses other tax... I thought the above article summarized nicely some of the key elements of the recently passed budget and tax bill. Information and knowledge are powerful tools.
  4. I’m not sure where you bank but my bank is required to report my interest earnings to the IRS for all interest earnings over $10.00. How do you propose the bank report that information? Let’s agree to disagree on that issue. And if the medical provider refuses me service because I refuse to provide my SSN, what am I to do? Perhaps we should get back to the original intent of this post.
  5. I find it interesting that some replying to this post indicate they refuse to provide their social security number. I tried that once and the medical provider explained it was necessary to process my Medicare claim. If I refused to provide it I had two options. First, I would have to pay upfront for the full cost of services provided and not the Medicare negotiated rate. Secondly, the medical provider I was seeing could (and would) refuse service. This hullabaloo about refusing to provide a social security number is stupid. It’s false security if you think by not providing it you’re financially transactions are safer. Try not providing your SSN to a bank and see what happens.
  6. Saw him when he was in the Tampa-St. Pete area. He assured me he was into kissing when I mentioned how important that was to me. While he “attempted “ to kiss it was obvious to me he was just going through the motions. Nice enough guy but definitely wouldn’t repeat.
  7. Here’s a copy of a review left on RM. Seems to corroborate the OP’s experience.

  9. I don’t think Treasury Direct sends out 1099s in the mail. At least they didn’t for me. I logged into my Treasury Direct account and printed out my 1099s for my T-bills from their website. Try logging into your account and navigate to the tax information tab. You should find your 1099 there.
  10. https://linktr.ee/tomchaseonline I was recently surfing the web and a news feed popped up relating to former porn star Tom Chase. When we both lived in Dallas many years ago we became friends at the gym we both worked out at. He left Dallas for the west coast and I headed to the Midwest, subsequently losing what little contact we had with each other. The link above takes you to his numerous online social network profiles. At one point internet chatter indicated that he might have escorted privately, meaning he didn’t advertise but when approached privately he wasn’t opposed to it. Whether that was true or not, I have no idea. Are there any Forum members aware that he escorted? Even at 60 I think he’s hot. Many will find him to be an “over-the-hill” guy who needs to hang it up. Not me, though. Woof!
  11. I have a feeling I know who you’re referring to. He ended up being the biggest jerk I’ve ever known. Screwed me over big time at the 2019 Palm Springs gathering. No need to identify the jerk for fear of those pitchforks you reference.
  12. Interesting topic. There are certain products I simply won’t compromise on. Examples include : Kerry Gold or Plugra butter Heinz ketchup Manchego cheese from Spain Swanson chicken broth Gruyer cheese from Switzerland Global blend olive oil Gevalia French roast coffee Certain generic staple pantry items are fine with me….flour, sugar, rice, spices, beans. Life is too short to compromise on the things you truly enjoy.
  13. It’s official! The Dow Jones Industrial Average is now trading below 40,000 on April 4th at 8:43 am.
  14. OMG, Kevin! That’s got to be a shocking start to one’s day. I wasn’t sure how my portfolio would hold up but I was surprised to see that I’m not doing too badly. My holdings in Duke Energy, Verizon, The Southern Company and AT&T are helping to mitigate my substantial loss in ExxonMobil. We’ll see how the day plays out.
  15. Let the games begin! Opening bell tomorrow morning should be interesting.
  16. Dude is wacko. Stay away. He was verbally offensive and i was little worried he would hurt me I have copied and pasted the first review comment that @Gar1eth referenced. The other reviews were favorable.
  17. In light of recent market volatility I decided to check on Verizon’s performance this year. This is what I discovered: Jan 1 price: 40.21 Mar 10 price: $46.89 Increase of $6.68 per share - 16.6% increase YTD It appears to have held up well. I suspect people are parking some of their excess cash in VZ because of their relatively safe dividend return. No crystal ball here but I personally think we’re in for a fair amount of market turmoil until things settle down regarding all the tariffs and political uncertainty . Good luck to all investors.
  18. If you do a Rentmen.eu search and set penis size to 4 inches you’ll get 3 pages of FTM providers. I’m sure many of them will have reviews that you could then peruse. I realize this an awkward way to seek out reviews. Perhaps the OP is only interested in a general discussion about FTM from other Forum members though. If that’s the case, the awkward approach I mentioned earlier would probably not be a viable option for him.
  19. Yes, it’s true that AT&T cut its dividend but you only presented half of the story. They also spun off the entertainment portion of the company in the form of Warner Brother Discovery stock when they cut their dividend. AT&T has come full circle…..first as AT&T, then divested into the Regional Bell Operating Companies (RBOCs) and now back to AT&T. Neither Verizon nor AT&T are going anywhere. They’ve been around for decades and pay above average dividends. Are they a growth stock? No. Like Jawjateck said….they’re more like a bond. My mom used to call these types of stocks “little blue-haired lady stocks” because so many old women owned them solely for the dividend. I personally believe they don’t do any harm in someone’s portfolio, in moderation of course.
  20. I’ve owned VZ for decades strictly for the dividends and have reinvested those dividends to purchase more shares of VZ. I own shares that cost me around $29 and others in the $60 range. For me, VZ is a dividend play and nothing more. It provides me with $6,000 annually to spend as I choose. As long as the dividend holds I’m good with VZ. I certainly don’t consider it a growth stock. Im not sure what your financial goals or needs are but owning VZ at its current price seems like a conservative investment and would be a nice addition to a diversified portfolio.
  21. Why do I feel the need to get a red pencil out and start grading this thread for punctuation, grammar, double negatives, word selection, etc?
  22. I’m not trying to scare him away. I just like to know whom I’m dealing with.
  23. Mocha…….Jarrod…….Tallmuscl37. Do I have this correct?
