I'm sure expanding my horizons this week. I started posting on here for the first time, set up an account at PayPal for the first time, and "going" to the Adonis party for the first time. Whew!

A number of us Gaiety alum met and became regulars at Club 20. We'd often meet beforehand for supper at the Olive Garden at 22nd and Sixth and watch the dancers pass by in the windows on their way to "work". Then we'd rush to get to the club before the $10 door charge went into effect at 7 pm. We'd sit in a semicircle along the right side of the auditorium outside the restroom and critique the stage performance of the dancers and some of the lap dances happening behind us. We'd also comment on our tastes in lapdancers and reminisce about the Gaiety of blessed memory. That's where I first met Tim Adonis founder of the Adonis empire. He was doing seated massages for $10 a pop I think. Those were the day eh @Cooper?

Wait until you hear how much he charges.

I have been to Showworld a couple times in Long Island NY. It's probably my current favorite theater. $10 admission. 1 smaller rooms that has lots of sofas in different configurations looking at half a dozen screens and a small set of GH booths along 1 wall. The other rooms is larger with a big open center, a set of booths along 1 wall and a dark back room. There are enough places to watch, be watched, or be a little out of the way from view depending on your comfort level. They have (to me) a huge bonus of bathrooms right in the larger room area so you can clean up or piss without having to go out into the book store area.

Everything about Max Grand was appealing, body, height, face, dick. I know this isn't a WEHT thread, but...does anyone know what happened to him. I'd bet he still looks damn good.

So true what you have said. Buffdaddy lives on Long Island Suffolk county. Population of over a million and a half. Not one Gay Bar. Nassau County which is next door if you're not familiar with the area has a population of over a million five. Has one Gay Bar. 3 million people and one small Gay Bar. The young Gay kids tell me they go to a regular bar with there str8 friends and Girls. They like Applebee's. I guess that's what happens when you go mainstream. I like the old days of sneaking around. Use to stand outside of the Gaiety in Manhattan and make sure not a lot of people looking at me and make a mad dash up the stairs lol. Spend the weekend on Fire Island and tell my Mother I was out in the Hamptons. Yes the world has changed.

I know some people are going to wonder how last night went as far as this goes, so I'll give my $0.02 for what it's worth, as I attended:
 
TL;DR: I'd go again because I liked the style of the event and think it's incredibly innovative, but I wish there were more/different types of guys next time around.
 
I think the setup and the general style of the event are really quite interesting, others have already highlighted the games/Q&A/etc. that happens, but it isn't until you're there that you realize that it really is quite fun. Through all the dick and ass that you're seeing, it's interesting to hear from the dancers/hosts how they started, what they're doing, etc. It is a LITTLE awkward because this is all done virtually, but that is certainly no fault of Adonis. At the end of the day, these are dancers that you would ordinarily be able to interact with more closely, and that's not happening here. You can't send a private message to a dancer, for example. I get that, as then dancers would be totally occupied with one person and forget the community style that sort of has to happen with this zoom.
 
Strictly, personally speaking, only one of the guys (Isaac?) I liked, but that's a matter of personal preference. I'm into what I'm into (generally less muscled, more lean guys), and the guys today were more masc, larger, etc. After the general shenanigans, you can then send a message to who you'd like in order to set up more personal time with that/those dancer(s).
 
I definitely will be attending again. I think this idea is super innovative and they could probably keep doing this even after they (God willing) return to normal business.
 
I do wish, though, that there was some roster that became available of guys you can set time up with directly after. For example, those that stayed until the end would be sent a link or something of all the dancers that they knew/were available, and you can set time up with them. I understand that would be pretty difficult though, so ***shrug***

This was way long ago, like, 2014 if not earlier. I only ever went to Adonis LA, so I don't know if he used to dance elsewhere.

He was super nice with me during a Lap Dance. I'd def hire him even if his massage is so so. $180 to be naked with him is less than I spend getting lap dances.

I was there, too, @Coolwave35! Didn't stay for the duration -- dropped out after about an hour. And I would agree that it was a pleasant diversion. And, yes, it was definitely more a hangout than a show. (Though it was fun to see some favorite dancers in their natural habitat.) Everyone was clearly figuring out how to use the platform and the guys all had very different ways of being in the virtual space. I might do it again. Might not. (Then again I say that every time I do an Adonis event.) But definitely happy to support the Adonis team in this small way...

Thank you @Coolwave35 and @RyanDean for the review. I was on the fence about paying $50. Now, I wish I would have if only to support Tim's and Matt's endeavors. I certainly want Adonis Lounge to continue when we are able to go out again.

I would have gone in for 20 and think there would be many more like me to do so. I hope he gets a bunch of people but if not i would say its the price that kept them away
