  1. Ryan Powers, Joel Someone, Nate Stenson come to mind. Great energy, excellent tops.
  2. Sad to hear this. TravelerNorth was pleasant, kind, and gracious. Will certainly hold space for him next year in Palm Springs.
  3. The majority of clients I talk on the phone with schedule and keep their appointments. As long as they understand that the nature of the message (friendly versus scheduling inquiry) and the method of delivery (email versus text) determines how quickly and thoughtfully I respond, I love chatting with clients. It's amazing how often a client has forgotten they've spent a good amount of time chatting with me before. I save all of my messages, all phone numbers, and all emails. I even make notes on the communication between me and my clients in case messages are lost. So when someone hits me up and I've already answered their questions, sent them a photo, and even had to remind them of who I am only an hour after first contacting me, I have a good idea of whether or not it's going to be a waste of time.
  4. RM messaging is faulty which can lead to problems. Having multiple places to check messages is another variable that can lead to problems or mistakes. A phone number is personal and I've worked hard to build a reputation of trust and accommodation so that people should have less reservations about sharing theirs. That being said, what you say first matters more than how its delivered... If the first message is a text stating "hey man, very nice" (happens several times a day) I assume that person is not serious and would like to determine this quickly. Although we use our phone for both text and email, with texts we expect quicker responses from each other. So if I respond to "very nice" guy and he doesn't get back to me soon, I can quickly cross him off my list. Although it probably wasn't his intention, that guy did me a favor texting me with his silly message rather than emailing me. If the first message is an email stating "I've enjoyed your reviews on DR" (and/or name with desires and dates length of time), I'm already at ease and comfortably continue the conversation there. But most clients don't communicate on that level so my preferences stem from my interaction them - not you guys.
  5. Of the amount of times I have had sex near/in/on these things, it resulted in a UTI more than half of those times. When symptoms first appear, to be safe I let everyone know (within a reasonable window of contact) they might need to be concerned. By the time I get the results and tell them "false alarm", it's already caused them and their recent partners stress and doesn't bode well for me socially or professionally... I do not want to wait for test results before putting that info out there, so I decided it's just better to avoid these scenarios. There is always somewhere nearby to have fun.
  6. I don't think I could ever give up rimming, but I try not to have sexual contact in pools or hot tubs.
  7. Why does it have to be one or the other? In some ways we can be born with a set of traits that steer us gay, and in other ways we just learn along the way and decide what works for us at certain points in our lives. Our chance of being gay is greatly effected by the population density of where we're carried to term, and the amount of children our mother birthed prior. This implies a biological (and evolutionary) trait to the effect of population control. I had a healthy childhood and when I think back on what could have led me to be gay my mind goes to professional wrestling, Clint Eastwood, and He-Man. I fooled around with many of my friends starting at 8 years old. Did the same influences in their lives lead to this possibility? Were we just having fun as boys do? Or were some of us gay and just reaping the benefits at an early age?
  8. I'm lounging with Alex Hawk and we are searching for places to stay for the Palm Springs weekend. Prices are greater than we expected (more than last year) so we are looking outside the usual haunts. Any leads or ideas would be appreciated. Let us know where you are staying? Looking forward to it!
  9. I agree with this. I don't mind driving in LA, but it can be difficult. When the trip is far and parking is difficult, it can add 1+ hours to a trip for (often) an hour of work. I'll ask for a Lyft if a client insists on meeting on the same day or if I have a feeling they aren't serious about meeting--like if they provide an apartment building address but not an apartment number. Thankfully, Lyft and Uber are cheap in LA.
  10. For me this is a great first message from a client. It's even better with a name/phone number/stats--but I realize it could take a few messages before you want to share these things.
  11. Took my first trip to Canada recently. A couple of clients who hit me up before were no longer interested when they realized I'd quoted them in USD. I should have thought of this earlier. Seems like taking a 30% pay cut while traveling would be tough--but at the same time, everything else in Canada was 30% less so it's not like I was losing out in the end. I still got work but next time I'll be more lenient on my rate.
  12. The police were not called. I guess the client had the same the same response all the escorts need ripped off did: will the police be able to help me? I'm not condoning violence and I'm not sharing any info on this escort. And think about it: tying someone to the bed and demanding money doesn't exactly go well in regards to the police or courtroom. It may go better than assault but not a much better option. As for walking the client to an ATM refusing to leave, escorts have tried this. It only results in the client calling the police or security and claiming that this random trick is coming at him for no reason. As for the missing part of my story... The escort had heard about the bad check guy and there was some details and what he heard that tipped him off eventually before the the session was over. I do not know exactly what that is, but since he heard about this client first hand from people the client had ripped off I imagine it was something particular maybe even an ”I love you”.
  13. There is a guy in SF that gives people bad checks after a session--after saying he'll use cash or card. He often involves security and sometimes calls the police. He has done this to dozens of people and many people I know. He uses burner phones, alternate yet accurate stats, and has several locations (he claims are airBnB) to host. Most of these details have been posted on Twitter. I make a lot of notes and save this sort of information. I've several numbers, descriptions, addresses, and names for him. I have a copy of a bad check and a video of him screaming "security". He's tried to hire me several times. I've politely declined. I'm NOT condoning every instance where Mocha has posted people's info. But when a client flakes on a scheduled session with a no call/no show or writes a bad check, I assume he does it to others and will do it again. To me this is no different than stealing. In my opinion, these clients forfeit there right to discretion and their "personal" info should be shared. Last month, the bad check client hired an escort that realized who he was before the end of the session. The escort flipped out and beat his ass bad. Broke several teeth on his fist/against a wall... The escort had only heard about the bad check guy. He hadn't seen his varying info sporadically posted online. He didn't know what I knew. Had there been a more efficient website or service dedicated to posting this guy's "personal" info, many escorts wouldn't have been ripped off and the client could have saved himself a trip to the hospital.
  14. Sorry to have derailed your original inquiry. I'm a big fan of Kristian. We have worked and played together and he is loads of fun. Plural. I don't know JayCAL but from the looks of him I sure would like to. Let us know how that goes if you meet him?
  15. A full panel STD test at Talent Testing Services uses only blood and urine analysis. This does NOT include a throat swab or a butt swab for Chlamydia or Gonorrhea. Yet this is all that most major (especially higher quality) studios require from both gay and straight performers for bareback and condom scenes alike. That's pretty silly, huh? TIM may be "known" to use HIV+ performers, but its not a prerequisite and ALL of the studios use HIV+ performers. TIM depends on the guise of "unsafe" sex to maintain relevance, and in order to portray more realistic sex, they seek less inhibited models with a greater understanding of STD's. Higher quality studios are no more diligent about obtaining test results from their models, turn a blind eye to the lack of tests they require, and are much more likely to use chemicals and needles to keep their models dick's hard for a 30 minute scene that takes 12 hours to shoot. Think about that. HIV+ men contract it through sex with someone who THOUGHT they were negative. NOT someone who is HIV+ and on meds and NOT someone who is on Truvada and tested regularly. The next time you have bareback sex with someone who insists they are negative but is not on Truvada, please keep in mind that they are a much higher risk than anyone else. Honestly, it's up to the models to determine how safe a shoot is. We talk to each other. We share test results that some studios need only a vocal confirmation of. I am HIV- and on Truvada, and so is my dear friend Nate Grimes. We don't shoot if we've come up with something and we certainly don't take clients if we have or have been exposed to an STD. To believe otherwise because of the studios we shoot for is a grand assumption based on gossip and a lack of knowledge. You want two big dicked studs in LA to give you the ride of your life (or at least your summer) and not have to worry about STDs? Look no further. Maus
  16. I ask for a name, but not a full name. Sometimes a photo. Typically a phone number and a (first) name is enough to work with.
  17. Many of the best experiences I've had with clients begins with me contacting them. I only do this if there is enough information in there profile for me to decide that we would be compatible.
  18. I like this idea for the CC because the room was less than $200/night and the facilities promoted playing in the garden and the (albeit underwhelming) dark room. I was able to book this on my own less than a month out. Having non-forum members around was also a plus. The idea of having and entire facility is also exciting. We could host gatherings there without it being one or two people's responsibility to host. CC is quaint but it's a little rundown and outdated compared to the smaller resorts. And if it's all forum members, the less cruisy establishments would be more open to letting us play in the otherwise common areas. However, without a good group rate, this wouldn't be in favor of providers like myself. I don't mind spending some money and not breaking even, but I'd prefer to make at least half of that back.
  19. That's also too long. But fine okay I'll wait ;-)
  20. I'm finally done unpacking! Last weekend was absolutely wonderful. Every day was relaxing, exhilarating, and ultimately satisfying. Such a friendly crowd full of warmth and intrigue--it's rare that a gathering of such a variety of people can be so pleasant and agreeable.... To all the clients I saw and those I met, you couldn't have been more friendly and supportive. I may not come off as nervous, but I was--but that didn't last long. To all providers I met, it was such a pleasure and I'm grateful for all that you shared with me. Loads of sharing goodness. I learned so much about what I can accomplish and about how important this community is to the people within it. I left with a new sense of belonging, new goals I look forward to reaching, and new friends I look forward to seeing again. Also, I had a lot of fun. LOTS and LOTS of fun. I'll spare you the details of said fun because it would take another 10 paragraphs of your time. Eric and David I'm happy you are okay and wish I could graciously relieve you while you are in discomfort. A year is too long to wait for the next one!
  21. So we make more money when we are hotter, don't screen our clients, and treat our work as if it were another job? It sounds like you are saying hot people are dumb but at least they make more money ;-) Non of the escorts I know that screen clients turn them away because of their stats (or their race). Those that don't screen tend to end up bitching about their jobs more and find themselves in unsafe or unfortunate situations. In the end, whether we screen or not comes with its pros and cons. And I love the puns!
  22. I can be attracted to any age, race, gender, or body type. All it takes is honesty. It's hard to know if someone is being honest if they aren't willing to share their stats and to talk on the phone with me before meeting. Discretion is important to me, but so is feeling safe and establishing a sense of trust. I don't judge clients who are unwilling to share information with me because I know they have their reasons not to, and because I know there are escorts who don't need that information that will better service their needs. To me, no one is just a client with money--and I don't want to be just action for the exchange of money. My sex work is also my sex life.
  23. Yes I'll be in Palm Springs and working! Staying at the Canyon Club. Although I'm not used to having more than one appointment in a day, I plan on doing a hole lot more than that. Excited to meet many of you gents and peers, fun is at the top of my priorities. At some point, I'll be tied to my bed for you guys to come and tickle torture me. Any other ideas on how to spice this weekend up? I'm all ears. Holla!
  24. OnlyFans has really sunk its teeth into the porn world. There is no going back. My background is in production, so I figured why not film my sex life and make something more of it? I think now is an opportunity to produce material that's never been done before. But I can't do it all myself. Surely there are escorts in LA who have have similar backgrounds. I want to team up with some people, and find a network of pros and semi-pros that I can outsource work to. If you know anyone with production experience (especially editing) that might be interested in collaboration or a little work could you send them my way? Clients, what's your take on OnlyFans? Pros and Cons? If the material was more accessible (OnlyFans adds up quick) what would you like to see in porn material made by the performers and your favorites? Thanks for the input and leads, Muas ShermanMausXxX@gmail.com
  25. I had a great time at the Sunday Brunch! Very happy I made it. Looking forward to next year :-)
