Merboy got a reaction from marylander1940 in Who's bangin bod is this?
I've asked on multiple forums but nobody knows. It looks like he's got a tattoo on the right arm, and I think he's masturbating (: I can't make out any "studio look". It looks like it might be from a site that is musclemen. Anyone have any clue?

Merboy got a reaction from marylander1940 in The fabulous Liza delivers a magnificent performance
This is from the 100th anniversary of the Statue of Liberty in 1986 (?).
What a performance! It's strong, over-the-top, energetic, powerful, campy, and delightful. I especially love when she does the lasso with her hands and motions for the orchestra to stop so she could belt - she really knows how to get the crowd going and this was a very adoring crowd of New Yorkers.

Merboy got a reaction from adventurous old guy in 300-400 now the norm?
I'm surprised actually that its not $1,000 an hour. It's much more expensive for straight men and women escorts and the process is more invasive - you have to tell them your employer and everything. You'd think in Manhattan, a very handsome young man with a bangin' body would at least charge $500 an hour. I wish of course this was all legal and taxed. I think for gay men, it should definitely be all legal and into the daylight as long as its consensual. The government has no business knowing what two consensual adults do. Do they go around asking couples that hook up if there was any exchange of money? No. Hiring a man for companionship and intimacy is no concern of the government's. Then you can actually have professional escort agencies with safe, legal websites and go through the process with a legitimate representative.

Merboy got a reaction from bigvalboy in Anyone know who this stud in the ad is?
He appears very briefly as one half of a gay couple (with an older, less attractive male partner) in "Latter Days". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4M77ATX4IXE

Merboy got a reaction from + Avalon in What Is Homosexuality?
It's a word that might be outdated and comes from a generation of sexologists going back to the late 19th century. I believe that being gay is all about the brain, and is a spectrum, so there's a great variety of gay men because there's a variety of different brain maps. I'd say that what we know as stereotypes are actually a clue to what "homosexuality" is in some men. Why, for example, do so many gay men have the "gay voice" or why do so many "look gay"? It's a bigger picture, certainly more so than just physical attraction. It's sad that the sexuality part of it has dominated when it's a much smaller part of the whole picture than one would think.

Merboy got a reaction from + E.T.Bass in Linda Eder
She's a wonderful singer. Her album, "It's Time", is superb - every track is great, its one of the few albums where every song is good (others would be Cher's "Believe", Audra McDonald's "How Glory Goes", Sarah Brightman's "Harem", and Melanie C's "Northern Star")

Love that movie.
Such an old movie but here is a SPOILER warning.
The scene always gets me where Wes Ramsey drops the tray, they hug, and then Jaqueline Bisset tells the older gay couple "he's a very good tipper."

Merboy got a reaction from hornytwells in Carousel
It has a beautiful score, but the 1994 revival album is so stuck in my head because I play it all the time that I think it would be hard to hear it any other way. I've heard some disappointing reviews about this revival so I don't know if I'm going to go to NYC just to see it. I saw the 1994 revival at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre when I was 9 years old and it was wonderful. I've heard that this new one does not have good set design, which is sad because the 1994 one had amazing sets. I think with any new revival you must not simply do the same musical over, but give it a new vision. "Pippin" did this very well.
