Just watched Such Good People with a few bitchy but fun friends. We may not have practiced proper social distancing but the alcohol in our cocktails may have killed some germs. Anyway, our consensus was that Randy Harrison remains smoking hot since Queer as Folk! His chiseled face, strong jaw and overall sex appeal wear well. Maybe he has been typecast but are we naive to think he doesn't have crossover appeal?

The human sex drive is clearly not fully governed by the logical side of our brain. First, I am now (due to the virus) without my part-time job, which funds my travel & hiring. While Netflix and Amazon Prime offer a lot of gay or gay themed movies I have been unable to find these titles: Scenes From the Class Struggle in Beverly Hills (1989). (Paul Bartel's "Eating Raoul" is available) Last Exit to Brooklyn (1990) Welcome to Woop Woop (1997) It's possible that they aren't as good as I recall. Because of where I was in my own personal development they mattered. Does anyone recall any of them? I wonder why they're not available at a time when there are so many outlets.

Interesting thread. I smoked pot when in my twenties, so it's been awhile. I recall laughing at parties with friends and watching movies, especially comedies. That was when you went to the video store and rented a VHS tape! For some reason it just lost all appeal. At my present age I have zero desire. Does anyone think it an age thing? Is it more appealing or enjoyable when one is younger?

Steamworks is top of the line. They're the biggest and cleanest you'll find. However, I don't recommend going there or to any bathhouse if you just wish to grind and do "innocent stuff." I doubt you'll find other patrons seeking the same. Maybe you'd be better off in a bar.

I'm thinking of going somewhere for Columbus Day weekend, October 12 -14. MAL takes place in DC over the Martin Luther King holiday weekend, IML in Chicago over Labor Day. Is any city known for a gay event over Columbus Day weekend? Nothing special happens in New England and it isn't yet cold enough to have to escape to Florida.
