  1. Just something from my limited experience, but sometimes the 2nd meet is not as anticipated. Not necessarily bad, just not as hot as imagined. I hadn't hired much, but a couple of winters ago, I decided to get out of the cold and go down south. A guy I had met only once before was going to be in the same city. It was pretty much the reason I decided to go there. I, no doubt, over anticipated what our second time together would be like, because it wasn't exactly the dream come true I built up in my mind anticipating our next meet. My naiveté. I still hear from him occasionally, and will meet him again if our schedules match, but I'll be a bit wiser.
  2. Should be in the realm of possibility. "Stripping" is a category in the Services section on RentMen.
  3. In addition to watching some old TV series on Netflix (Frasier, and Colombo), and Grace and Frankie, I binge watched: Shameless Queer as Folk The Ranch Just recently, I began watching London Spy. On the fence about continuing, but so far it keeps me coming back.
  4. I can understand your caution, but from the client perspective, I wouldn't provide advance identification, whether in Vegas, or any other city.
  5. ... and a Happy New Year
  6. First escort I hired advertised as bisexual, but during our initial conversation, he said he was "mostly straight". Being a newbie, and not expecting more than vanilla, it was a good experience. Another I hired had "ask me" in his ad. I didn't ask until we were in his hotel room, and he said he was straight. Whether that had anything to do with it, I can't say, but it ranks as my least enjoyable experience.
  7. I posted this only 6 months after my first hire. As @Tarte Gogo mentioned, make sure he has good reviews, and follow your instincts. Being intimidated is natural.
  8. Re OP's original question "Have you ever had a package stolen from your door?" Not every package "delivered" may have been stolen. Don't know if others have experienced this, but Amazon occasionally leaves packages at our condo building addressed to other homes/buildings. I'm betting the delivery person scans it, Amazon thinks it's delivered, not knowing it's delivered to the wrong address.
  9. I've always liked her, and thought her performance in Shameless was great.
  10. Never met him, but he has an old review here under Milan Giamiani. https://www.daddysreviews.com/search

The advantage of a buzz cut is that the hair looks the same upon arrival, and departure.

  13. I'm betting for most people, the handling, power, and feeling connected to a Porsche will get your heart beating faster than driving a Hyundai will.
  14. Welcome. No need to worry about not native English. We are all welcoming.
  15. Sad news. May he rest in peace.
  16. I would think so. What goes in, has to come out. Dennis Hastert's withdrawals got the attention of the Fed's
  17. +1 on Costco. Last 3 pairs of glasses I got from there. Wouldn't call it an upsell by any stretch, but he suggested I have some sort of picture taken of the eyes ($35 on top of the $50 exam). When he looked at it, he said I have beginning stages of cataracts, but it's not time to do anything yet. Then he said I had hypertension (just by looking at the picture), and asked if was I seeing a doctor about it. Yes I am. Their prices are good if you don't go hog wild in your selections. I got rid of the employer sponsored vision plan for retirees as their low limit on what they would pay, plus monthly premium, came out close to even just paying cash at Costco. Only downside, is their frame selection is very limited, but for a fee, they may be able to re-lens existing frames. I also hear they are the best deal in town for hearing aids.
  18. And many more. Thanks for sharing your life. Enjoy
  19. Those of you that have it, enjoy the wave. I agree with those that say it's luck, and its also other circumstances you cannot control. A co-worker paid for her nice, not extravagant, small wedding with the profits from selling her beanie-babies during the height of it's craze. Early in my career (early 80s), there was a proposed merger of my company where purchase for our stock was reported to be 10x's the price per share at the time of the announcement. Share prices skyrocketed. Several co-workers had been in the employee stock purchase plan since they hired on 30-40 years before, and made a killing selling it beforehand for a price somewhat less than the proposed price. One held out for the proposed price, but the merger never happened. That person didn't lose money, but I think regretted losing the opportunity. Having witnessed family and friends lose all equity in their homes in Detroit years ago, and sell for a fraction of what was paid 20 years before, real estate is never a sure thing.
  20. No, no suggestions. I'm not in to any of that as I'm basically risk adverse, unless you count my penchant for spending extra money at the casino. The winnings for a while funded my hiring.
  21. My local paper said it hit 17K.
  22. Like @poolboy48220, would listen to them in the car on long road trips. It was better than having to find a new radio station every so often. Now, I have XM. Don't really do long trips anymore, so haven't listened to an audio book in years.

As he says in his ad, it may take a while to respond. That was my case. But, worth the wait. I only met him for the first time back in May.
  25. Think about all the new possibilities driverless cabs will provide. The downside is how messy that back seat will be for the next rider.
