  1. Glitch seemed to go away last night. This morning, went to the website, and glitch was back for me. However, I discovered, if I go to rentmen.eu, and not rent.men, don't get the glitch. I clicked the tab on the top for rent.men, it allowed be to check both boxes, and then click on bar at bottom to enter rent.men, but had to repeat Chicago as location. Just now, went in via rentmen.eu again, and clicked rent.men tab, and went straight to site (no boxes to check). However, had to again repeat Chicago for city.
  2. Just discovered that works if I click on a link provided in a thread on this website. Sadly, as posted above, doesn't work if I go directly to rentmen.
  3. I use IE, go to private browsing, google, rent.men Chicago, click rent.men, get terms of service, click on privacy policy (no red outline around the box that I saw earlier, click accept terms of service, click on privacy policy, and before I can do anything else, it flashes to RM screen (rentmen of the day), then quickly flashes back to acceptance page. Go through the same process, and back to acceptance page. Done with it. Perhaps it's a sign financial problems are on my horizon, and I need to save my money. Fortunately, I emailed a couple of guys a few days ago, and have that mode of communication still available.
  4. I walk around my neighborhood a lot, and when a women is approaching me, I make a point to move over to the street side of the sidewalk to pass.
  5. I do. But when I check the 2nd box, same thing happens.
  6. I google rentmen, and get the website. I click on the bar to enter rent.men. It has a screen to check if you accept terms of service, and another to accept privacy policy. I click one, it flashes to the normal page, then quickly flashes back to the acceptance page. I click the other, same thing happens. I wish I copied some phone numbers before this new wall was installed as I can no longer view ads. Memorial weekend in Chicago has a ton of providers.
  7. I too think it depends, and usually on the provider. I believe more (although there are exceptions) see you as a customer rather than a potential friend.
  8. The last guy looked familiar. Found this thread. There may be others. https://www.companyofmen.org/threads/411-on-eastern-european-marc-in-dc.122678/
  9. YIKES! My local Costco (best gas prices around here) is only charging $3.05 a gallon for regular, and $3.49 for Premium. GasBuddy is a great website. And yes, prices have gone up, but I just attribute that to the switch to summer blend that supposedly is more expensive to refine.
  10. I've always thought of life insurance as something to protect those currently in your life who are financially dependent upon your income. If your wife was the only reason for insurance, you no longer need it. Stop paying the premiums. I was in the same position, and stopped paying premiums when I retired. If policies are paid up, then it's yours to do with to make your life happy. A big reason for my dumping life insurance, is that I didn't like the idea of me continuing to pay premiums just so others, not financially dependent upon me, could "win the lottery" when I died. I thought about charities, but thought it be easier to spend the premium money directly on the charity.
  11. He's on my bucket list. https://rent.men/sarugbymuscle
  12. If you're not ready to let go of it yet, ask your insurance agent to rate you for low miles. Most give the lowest rate if you drive less than 10K a year. Many of the snow birds in my building leave a 2nd car parked in the garage for 2 to 3 months every winter, and no problems getting it going each spring, so don't worry about it not being driven for a long time. But, if you decide you don't want to drive anymore (like my father did in his 80's), time to let go. Sell, or donate.
  13. I like the idea of him planting the trees.
  14. In the 70's, I had a pair (not so much jeans, more thick white cotton flared legged, so yes I suppose, jeans). I wore then with a pink shirt (yes, believe it or not). Looked great on me when I had a tan in the summer.
  15. Found it, Thanks. https://www.masseurfinder.com/massage-therapists/15161/
  16. Almost every day, sometime in the morning, I make it up so that it's ready to get into at bedtime. The bedspread/top sheet are folded back to the bottom third of the bed. That way, I can take a nap if I want (not often). At night, I often fall asleep without pulling up covers. After I get up to pee in early am, that's when I usually pull up the bedspread/top sheet. It's a small apartment, and the bed is visible unless I close the door. If guests are planned that day, I make up the bed with the bedspread up to the top, including the pillows in those sham things at the top.
  17. For the most part I think I am, but I have my bad moments.
  18. I loved the feather top bed.
  19. Looks like Waimea Canyon to me.
  20. Not an awesome view from the lobby when you walk into the Royal Hawaiian. I forgot to mention the Moana, which has a better view when you walk in, but it's to pool and ocean beyond. It's nice, but never took my breath away.
  21. For different reasons, Four Seasons Maui, and Chicago, Grand Wailea Maui, Ritz Carlton DC, Royal Hawaiian Honolulu, Le Pavillon New Orleans, Hotel Pacific Monterey, Loews Coronado. Forgot, Grand Hotel Mackinac Island. Not for hotel itself, but the history.
  22. GM cars had that feature. I remember them too.
  23. I had a 2011 with keyless, had a hard time remembering to leave fob in car at the car wash, or when I valet parked. My 2012 had regular key start that I liked because I was so used to a key. Just got a new car with keyless ignition. Going to have to test to see what happens if I walk away with the engine running.
