Haven't had it in a while, I think I'll pick some up.

The water in my suburb tastes just fine, and when I worked downtown, the water in our building tasted fine too. Haven't bought bottled water in many years, and if I did, it was when I was on the road.

LOL Nobody from outside SE Michigan (aka the tri-county Detroit area as it was called when I lived there) ever gets the party store meaning. Yes, a party store to me, is a place to pick up beer, wine, liquor, chips, cigarettes, and sometimes a few basic food items. My mother (an immigrant, who's English was not the best) used to refer to our local party store as the "little store" when she sent me on a errand to pick up something. I really miss Detroit some times.

When I threw my back out several months ago, and ordered online through Shipt, I decided to order a few heavy things (2 gallons of distilled water for the cpap, 2 half gallons of milk). I tipped.

When I used to stay in Kihei Maui, there was Star Market, and a Foodland, unless you wanted to venture out toward Piilani Hwy. to the Safeway. Foodland was my go-to store, then Longs Drug Store (unfortunately, now a CVS -- yuck).

In his late teens, my father immigrated to the US in 1940 all by himself. Never finished the equivalent high school in his country. He eventually got a union job in the building trades. In the mid 60's, I remember seeing his pay stub a few times. His take home was a little over $200 for a week. I thought that was a lot of money.

Curious to know too. I've seen his ads since I first started looking around several years ago.

I used to get emails from Jock2Go in my spam, and figured they were connected with RM. Friendboy.pro (fka Rentboy.pro) had a reputation of creating ads for providers without their knowledge, then contacting them with the news, and I assume put it upon the provider to accept or not, or to do with it or not, I don't know, I'm just a client. I've been distrustful of Friendboy for that reason. Would hate to blame a provider for inaccurate info it's not the provider's fault.

Sounds like your suburb doesn't have mosquito abatement. My suburb sprays near water areas (creeks, ponds, etc.), and I pay for it on my tax bill.

When I retired, I figured I would save ab0ut $400 a month between no longer buying lunch, and no longer paying for either Metra, or parking.

Worked downtown Chicago for several years, and usually spent near $7 to $10 a day when going out for lunch, and that was at the "quick casual" places, where you walk up and order a sandwich. Never went to McDonald's. When going someplace where they waited on you at your table, $20 something easily.

It's a nice suburb. It has a free bus service for residents throughout the suburb.

Nothing like summer. As a kid in Michigan, I remember being eaten up by mosquitos. I remember toothpaste helped with the itch. Now, they don't bother me so much. Beginning in the early 2000's, for about a decade, I used to spend a week each summer in the north woods of Wisconsin. I remember the stores in town would sell Avon skin-so-soft, that supposedly repelled mosquitos. Never tried it, so cannot verify.

In the very rare times I've won at a table game, I don't tip until I leave the table, and don't pay attention to what happens to the tip I leave.
