  1. I think the street is too wide for Chicago. I’d say New York.
  2. I don't know what your measurement is, but when working, and living in the midwest, I routinely dealt with our New York facilities. I had only been to NYC twice in the 12 years I had the job, and it was before 9/11. One day, several years after 9/11, I don't remember how many, maybe five, six, or seven years after 9/11, I was having a conversation with one NYC supervisors regarding another employee. She paused during our conversation, and I began to wonder what was going on, and then she let it out. She said people don't realize 9/11 hasn't ended for us. People still have problems, and illness, and cancers were still taking lives years later. I guess all I'm trying to say is catastrophes claim more people than an initial death count.
  3. According to Wikipedia, yes. However I rarely took the bridge. Most often I used the tunnel. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Detroit–Windsor_Tunnel For a brief time, my brother worked at the railway crossing, which is freight only.
  4. I was at the local grocery store Sunday. Same story. Most meat and eggs gone, all paper products gone. Didn't expect the vending machine for lottery tickets to be out of almost all of the scratch off tickets. I guess restocking the machine is not a priority.
  5. I haven’t lived in Detroit for decades, but I recall then, many crossed the border twice a day, to and from their regular job in the country across the river. My father’s cousin who lived in Canada would sometimes stop by the house on her lunch hour. I also worked with a woman who lived in Canada.
  6. In Illinois, bars and dining rooms close at end of business today. Drive through, pickup, and delivery still available.
  7. Good point about workers who can‘t bring food to work. In the 80’s I worked in a couple of hotels that prohibited employees from bringing any food into the hotel. However, all employees were provided free meals prepared by the hotel. I ate better than I did at home. How they accommodated specific dietary needs, I don’t know as I didn’t work in Food and Beverage.
  8. Fortunately, or unfortunately @E.T.Bass , I’ve learned a masseur can be more enthusiastic about kissing than some providers I‘ve met for the first time. Guess it’s the luck of the draw.
  9. I love kissing, but not having a tongue shoved in my mouth, especially with those early kisses. Most often, I like the lips, whether mouth partially open, or closed, kissing them, maybe licking them somewhat, and then, as passion heats up, maybe some playful teasing of the tips of the tongues during a full on kiss.
  10. I just saw on the news tonight that Illinois is having all of the casinos in the state close for 14 days, although no cases are associated with any casino at this time. But, for some reason, probably "political", its not effective until Monday. Go figure, the busiest days at any casino are the weekends. At least, one casino, Rivers, will continue to pay employees. However, no mention of whether tip income will be included.
  11. A provider (now retired) once fingered my prostate while stroking me.
  12. I just got back from Costco. Wanted to pick up a Rx, and a few things before the weekend crowds. Couldn’t believe it. Parking lot full, overflowing to next lot. Everyone walking out had cases of water in their cart. Signs on the door said they were out of paper products. Lines to the cashiers were backed up to the clothing section. Decided to just get Rx and get out. Only three in line in front of me. Then, as I’m trying to back out of my parking space, I’m blocked by a woman waiting for another woman to load her suv with the water, and enough stuff to stock a bomb shelter. Finally after I purposely got within inches of her car, honking my horn, she notices. Never heard me honking my horn before I got near here. She finally moved, barley giving me enough room, and then there were two other cars wanting my and another’s spaces. I resisted the urge to give her the finger. Oh, then there’s the people who are trying to maneuver those wide carts between cars because they couldn’t remember what aisle they parked. There’s going to be a lot of scratched cars this weekend. People are getting weird.
  13. I could still probably hire for an hour or two every couple of months, or maybe my first overnight, which I'm thinking of doing, with my current income because the pensions and social security will not change. However, I've been planning on doing needed improvements in my home, and I was going to use accumulated money in the the retirement accounts for that. Now, I'm afraid to look at them for fear they are in the toilet. If I forgo the improvements, a plumber, and tile guy are getting less/no work. And, if I do the improvements, I'll have to use monthly income for the improvements, which means less money left over to hire. I'm going to have the plumber and tile guy come over in a couple of weeks for an estimate. By then, I will hopefully have looked at the damage to the retirement accounts.
  14. I've never done an overnight, and only have done incalls, but after every hire, I've showered when I got home, rinsed/gargled with Listerine, then had a glass of wine in bed.
  15. Don’t know anything about the San Juan hotel, but I’ve stayed at the Royal Palm https://www.royalpalmsouthbeach.com/ Nice hotel, large assortment of rooms, older, refurbished, somewhat edgy decor for me, but shower big enough for two, and friendly staff. Part of the Marriott Bonvoy Tribute portfolio, so can use points, and the fifth night is free. It’s at 15th and Collins, with direct access to the beach. Right next door to the Loews. I was thinking about possibly heading down there next week (it’s rainy in Hawaii now). Thanks for the info on The Betsy @cany10011 . Can walk over and check out the music.
  16. Oh yes, I’ve been to that one too, and agree. It’s been awhile since I’ve been there. I’ll have to see if I need anything from the Jewel.
  17. For your sake, and others dependent on travelers, I hope it will pick up this summer. However, it seems more likely those conventions that are annual, or biennial will just wait for the next scheduled one.
  18. I think time, and parking is more of a consideration than distance. I'm in the suburbs, about 25 miles from downtown. However, depending on traffic, it can take as little as 40 minutes, or up to three hours to get downtown, then time to get through all the traffic lights, and find a place to park. I like it when a provider stays at a hotel because I can just leave the car with the valet, and most often, for a $5.00 tip, they will just let it sit out there for a hour or two, and of course same tip when get the keys to leave. They know what's going on. A Hilton, two different Hyatts, and the Sofitel, all good. My one meeting at a Marriott, valet made me pay for parking ($25.00 for two hours), and then of course, expected a tip (I just gave in a couple of bucks.). Jerk. It's been a couple of years since I drove to and from the city in the same day, so thinking I many have to adjust the tip up to $10 for inflation if I do that again. Last couple of times, I just cashed in points and spent the night in the city to avoid unpredictable traffic, and cabbed it over to their hotel. I could take the train, but if late appointment, more stops on the line each way, so takes longer, and kinda takes away from the overall experience having to be a slave to the train schedule. A guy I've seen several times locally lives in a suburb 30 miles away, but only takes me about 30 minutes travel time each way. All expressway. A guy staying at an Airbnb in Chicago, may be in a neighborhood with virtually no available street parking, no public lots/garages, or only permit parking. One guy who travels has twice stayed only four miles from my house. I once flew from Chicago to Miami. Had an outcall at my hotel. A little vacation for myself.
  19. All my emails are gone. And last time I looked at “Who I saw”, there were more than I remember looking at. it also said I had an IM. I don’t remember contacting him, yet I can’t figure out how to delete it. I hope some entrepreneur can swoop in and create a better format.
  20. I'm in a few loyalty programs, and got an email the other day for the Fairmont Kea Lani in Wailea, Maui. Every 5th night free. It got me thinking that deals can be had now. I might take a look at this, or other hotels out there, or see if there are deals on redeeming points/or cheap rates in beach areas. Thinking of Miami Beach, or Marco Island if don't go to Maui.
  21. Lol. Several of the grocery stores in the suburbs of Chicago near and northwest of ORD. A lot of airline workers, and a substantial influx of younger Eastern Europeans in the last few years. Within two or three miles of my house, there is a LA Fitness, Crunch Fitness, Planet Fitness, XSport Fitness, YMCA, two local park district facilities, and a few independent store front facilities. They all gotta eat after their workout, and you usually see the guys in the produce aisle, or in the meat department, unless they’re there with gf/wife, then sometimes in the other aisles.
  22. Trips to grocery stores for eye candy. See guys who probably aren’t wearing underwear, and you can see their shorts caught up in between their ass cheeks, or sometimes you can see their knob protruding in front. Sometimes guys in tight workout pants, and can see jockstrap lines from behind. Then, there’s the muscular guys who wear tight tee shirts, and wear shorts/pants that show off nice ass.
  23. Thanks. I only did Free Carrier. EveryoneAPI seems, based on their example, more detailed. I'm not going to worry about my TracFone. Paid cash, and never signed up for an online account. If it works when contacting providers, good. If no response, so be it.
  24. I just looked up the number of, what I consider, my "burner phone" (i.e. a TracFone I purchased specifically for this hobby), and all it said was the carrier was Verizon. How would that tell me it was burner phone if I looked up the number of a provider?
  25. And baby wipes.
