  1. I hired a nutritionist to deal with it. He recommended a high protein breakfast everyday. He said the habit of Americans to eat cereal or muffins / bagels or other carb only breakfasts with coffee is a prelude to diabetes late in life.
  2. Who said ANYTHING about a "steady diet" of fries ? I simply said my weakness for carbs is good plate of Pomme Frites. I maybe do that a few times a year.
  3. NYC is full of rich men. He'd do better to work less / charge more. He's as good looking as they get so I am guessing charging a premium price isn't going to be a problem.
  4. I'm gonna bet money on ^ THIS ^
  5. True...but more than a "sale" they might do well to bump UP their rates with a "this is your last chance" announcement.😉
  6. When my housekeeper is sick I still pay her for the day. She's like family. If this were a one-off event then yes...he owes you the weekend you paid for. It this is a regular companion the single lost weekend is a gray area. Personally I would say if he's a decent sort of fellow the "relationship" would solidify by letting it go. Asking for a "refund" is tacky. Suggesting you'd love to finally have that weekend together may get a response that he owes you a better time. I wouldn't "demand" anything
  7. Best to avoid Sugar for sure ...BUT As someone who is very conscious of every teaspoon of carbs and/or sugar in my diet ..I can say confidently that there IS ( for me ) a HUGE difference in how my body responds to white sugar as opposed to brown sugar. I can cheat a little with a bit of brown sugar in my foods ...never with white sugar.
  8. Limited but think about what would make YOU smile if the shoes were on the other foot. Young people like to feel special. Some will abuse that. Others will not. They all will feel it out to see what they can get Find a line in the sand but don't be cheap.
  9. "Off the clock" is usually somewhere between pay 4 play and sugar daddy time. Plenty of women expect to have dinner paid for and when a gentleman makes frequent dates, the occasional gift comes into play. There are lots of young men who miss their parents caring for them / feeding them and buying them gifts. So a mature companion who makes them feel special in this way is merely an extension of childhood pleasures. Go with the flow. You don't always need cash to feel special but gifts are appreciated.
  10. I am confused. You paid him for his company and he spent the time with you inspite of the fact he was sick ? Am I understanding correctly ?
  11. You've probably never had GOOD fries. Belgian Pomme Frites are addictive
  12. Just look at the pics. Hips are way below the doorknob Which means even less than 5'-7"
  13. "Preppy" was only pretentious, if you didn't attend a Prep School and your parents didn't have money. Middle class kids from working class families and/or "ethnics" ( which was anyone who isn't blond hair/ blue eyed Euro ) wearing the signature of upper class wealth was pretentious. But if you "belonged to the club" these were their standard issue uniform. Brooks Brothers, Izod & Fred Perry ( for the tennis court ).
  14. I'm hypoglycemic ( not diabetic) but likely a result of the way I ate as a kid. Tons of candy / soda / fruit juice / Kool aid / pastries and every meal served with potatoes and bread. Weight gain was not and is not my issue. What I need to watch is dizziness and extreme and sudden exhaustion. So yeah...I've been watching carbs for two decades. One of my "cheats" is really good Belgian Fries..and yes I can attest to the fact that one big plate of fries and my glycemic index is fucked.
  15. Unfortunately..if memory serves the strippers are in the basement and only the old piano bar crowd are upstairs. So probably not going to be a fruitful exploration. But I can walk by on my way to dinner
  16. I live three blocks away. Haven't been in there since the 90s. Maybe I will walk by and peek in the window for you. 😉
  17. Hits me up on Grindr from time to time. My impression is that he partys a lot. Has all the signs of drug abuse in his communications and lack of follow through to sessions of dirty talk that always just ends with silence. A few weeks later he contacts me again as if we hadn't talked before. A bit sad.
  18. The problem with all that fatty muscle mass is that the minute you skip your workout routine all that comes crashing down. I've seen it many times at the gym I used to workout at. Body builders have a definite expiration date.
  19. Yes . hip hop is very much a parody of the designer label Trashy half-naked "hoe" rolling around on a Gold Plated Mercedes decked out in Louis Vuiton . Literally makes a joke of the whole industry. It's the opposite of class.
  20. NOTHING with a designer label is actually "stylish". I've worked in and around the Fashion Industry and I work in Design. Nobody with any style, and class advertises how much they spent on socks by purchasing them emblazoned with a giant designer logo.
  21. Would you only hire providers vaccinated for monkeypox? Does the Pope shit in the woods ? 😝
  22. Agreed. I've had similar situations where people were totally unappealing in real life. I hand them half and just excuse myself as not being able to keep the appointment, and walk away. Nobody wants to admit they're fat and unappealing, especially guys who used to be hot.
  23. He posts weekly on Twitter. Yes..he's still pretty magnificent looking. Never dipped my toes in that water, though. I am perhaps a little intimidated by how good looking he is, and he posts full-on sex scenes all the time, so clearly the boy knows what he's doing.
  24. Yup That's my go-to if I make dessert for a sit-down dinner party. Marscapone cheese with almond extract, a little brown sugar and sliced pears wrapped inside a Dufour puff pastry buttered on the outside with another sprinkle of sugar. Delicious.
  25. Absolutely. He passed through my life for 20 minutes once. I have no idea what became of the issue. My attitude was that it's the hospitals problem, but my responsibility to other patients to make them aware of it. Although I live in-between worlds, as a bisexual man, and probably don't suffer as much prejudice as men who have always identified as homosexual, when it comes to my doctor, I do need to have the trust of full disclosure because I am sexually active with gay and bisexual men. I've never once had an issue since that moment. But I haven't lived in any small towns since I was a teenager. From Syracuse NY, it was off to Los Angeles, then Pittsburgh and then on to New York, where I remain.
