For us locals....all of this is about time of day. You're crazy if you take a car service into Manhattan arriving at LaGuardia during the day. Traffic will be horrendous and will take you twice as long (if not three times as long) as the public transportation options. So while an Uber may seem more "classy" it's the worst choice between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM. A real New Yorker is well familiar with public transportation options for this reason.

Always the same problem with couples....I am only into one of them. The presence of the partner would only be a "third-wheel" to my good time.

The finished product looks like a gigantic cube covered in plastic faux marble panels. Like a mix of stark modernism and the basement bath at your Italian grandma's house in Brooklyn. A waste of material if it is in-fact real stone.

For cheap transportation with limited luggage I always take the bus to the subway unless it's late at night then..yes. bus to LIRR is the better (safer) option. (When traveling from Kennedy it's AIRTRAIN to LIRR)

I can't blame you for being jealous and annoyed since you're paying for this get-together. I agree with the above advice: to lay down some more direct ground rules for while the clock is ticking.

I saw an article today where the director was busy defending the chemistry between Perez and Galitzine. Apparently I am not alone in feeling it was lacking. But I don't agree with some of the comments that a gay actor would have had more chemistry. I think a gay actor would have definitely had more hard-ons..but you either have chemistry on set of you don't. There have been plenty of straight actors who "had chemistry", even in non-romantic roles with their cast mate.
