Where I grew up, things were very conservative and surrounded by rednecks. I would have never hit on a guy for fear of a good beating (or the occasional death). 30+ years have passed and there are many young gay couples who lead perfectly happy/ open lives and are active.members of the community. Things don't change overnight and not even in a generation, but they have changed. Just takes more time for some places to catch up. Keeping in mind the majority of States had already legalized gay marriage before it was made a National.Law.

Well the person who's calling people haters signed up very recently just to refute some facts. So take that for what you will. Obviously BoyMadrid is trying to protect his reputation by deceiving us. (Or at least trying) I think most if us are onto this tactic of newbies jumping in to conversations just to refute inconvenient truths.

Sexual monogamy is an out-of-date concept that was designed to protect heterosexual men's hereditary rights by preventing a wife from bearing children to other men. Marriage was a mechanism for families to protect property rights. It's fairly common today for couples to have open marriages. So your opinion seems a little archaic and out of touch with today's society.

Yet I did and they are. I looked back to a message thread I had with him 7 years ago. 3/4 of his photos are the same ones he was sharing then. I am not denying he is aging slowly. But seven years is ridiculous to keep sharing the same photo when you're in a business of people paying for your looks.

Well considering he told me he was 23 in 2017 basic math would disagree with your opinion, unless he was 18 back then and bumping up his age quotation. Stating inconvenient truths doesn't make people "haters". Perhaps he's still youthful in appearance but I can confidently say the majority of his posted photos are the same he was using 7 years ago.

I guess it's tough to travel outside your usual comfort zones when you're obviously gay. I grew up in the middle of some fairly red-neck territory..so I knew better than to be obvious about being a dick-sucker. These days there are multiple gay couples running bed and breakfasts and hair salons there and the rednecks just look the other way. Times have changed in much of the country. So your experience must have been some old-timer deep south bigots.

No. I think there was some additional information shared by others here who made a more reasonable argument as to why Baldwin should be held accountable for poor choices that may or may not have lead to the incident. As far as your excessive vitriol toward Baldwin...were you two dating long or was it just a weekend fling that broke your heart ?
