After all this discussion of dying at or living to various ages, it seems appropriate to mention a (now deceased) famous movie star who died in the seventies (George Sanders) who had it all figured out when his life was to end.

On 23 April 1972, Sanders checked into a hotel in Castelldefels, a coastal town near Barcelona. He was found dead two days later, having gone into cardiac arrest after swallowing the contents of five bottles of the barbiturate Nembutal.[22][23]

He left behind three suicide notes, one of which read:

Dear World, I am leaving because I am bored. I feel I have lived long enough. I am leaving you with your worries in this sweet cesspool. Good luck.[24][25][26]

If we have any classic film buffs here, Sanders once starred in a movie called The Kremlin Letter (1969), in which his first scene showed him dressed in drag and playing piano in a gay bar in San Francisco.

Sanders also had a starring role in the classic film, All About Eve - Bette Davis et al

Much of the above information is taken from Wikipedia

I’m passing. Mainly because he’s been texting me non stop to set up an appointment and meet. Desperation from an escort is a red flag to me.

Speaking of sad things, there was an actor, a long time ago, with a similar name as the OP - Jon-Eric Hexum.

While playing around on the set of a movie he was making, he accidentally killed himself (at age 26) with a blank gun from the set.

He was an extraordinarily handsome man.

Here is a little u-tube clip that shows a little about him and his gorgeous looks.

So what is the purpose of this thread-random postings of death-pondering the meaning of life-the vast dark empty soul-what are you trying to express?

Life has always sucked... but now we have a direct pipeline into our brains every waking moment.
When centenarians are interviewed the common thread I observe in them is Resilience. These are folks who lived in a time when life expectancy was quite low, families bore 10 children to work because 3 of them were likely to die and the threat of starvation or sudden death/catastrophic injury was very real.

I'll take the threat of having acid thrown in my face over dropping dead behind a plow in a field or inhaling mustard gas in a trench in France any day.

There's no other time in which I'd rather live.

I am seeing more and more adds include PNP. Is this a trend?

Perhaps I’m old fashioned but this automatically disqualifies the companion from being considered. Any association with drugs (even if they say it’s just their clients) for me is a non-starter no matter how attractive someone. So from my perspective the number of companions seem to be shrinking. Curious what others think.

It has not happened to me...but then again, I like a lot of variety, and rarely hire the same escort more than a few times. Beyond that, the excitement and lust tend to wain. Even with the stripper boys, I tend to move around a lot. I do repeat, but it's easy to avoid a rut. Plenty of guys out there to experiment and have fun with.

    Let's see.

Paying for it, its losing its appeal, and being advised to work at it. To take on responsibility for the hire's disappointing performance.

Its supposed to be a pleasurable experience. Not work.

Disappointing, perhaps some nostalgia involved, but time to move on.

And yes, happened to me. Easy to sit here and opine... wasnt quite so easy to resist temptation to focus only on the good times, overlooking the more recent disappointments, when I was in the mood or saw an ad.

It is the nature of human relationships. I saw an escort on and off for three years. The sex was amazing and even got better until it stopped getting better. After a while, the chemistry was just not there anymore. Still I often recommend him highly when I see 411 requests on the forum because three years of fantastic sex is worth recommending.

Thanks for remembering that I am gone from the U.S. a lot.

Much of my off shore time is spent in Austria and in South America. I have no plans to retire in either place.

I must be careful not to stay in one country for more than 180 days cumulatively each year (not necessarily consecutive).

Where I visit, each country allows 90-day tourism visits unless an extension of time request is obtained before the first 90 days expire.

One potential problem with staying too long in one specific foreign country (more than 180 a year) is that the foreign country may consider you a resident and make you subject to their tax laws. Mr. Trump says that our taxes in the U.S. are too high. He should check out the rules and rates in Austria before he makes more wrong assertions.
