Mmmmmm....Brazilians!

My best college buddy bought a Ford Pinto, before they pulled them off the market for exploding. A few years back on trips to Berlin and to Montenegro I became familiar with the Yugo and the Trabant, arguably the worst cars ever made. Only the Yugo was marketed in the US .(disasterously,) but everyone in the German Democratic Republic owned a Trabant--there was no other choice. In what was East Germany, they are still regarded with some affection.

@Despardo you think he is “legit”? Eager to meet him if he is!
I have no idea except that he has been advertising in Seattle for a long time. Most of the local guys are legit--not saying how good they are. The frauds and scams are typically transients passing through, then moving on.

I think he is.

He comes to Seattle regularly, but I have not met him.

Obits have been useful to me in trying to find old acquaintances.

Just before Nob Hill closed. He indicated difficulty meeting people, and was concentrating more on his other job. I don't think he advertises much, saw a massage ad this past January in a state far from SFO but that was for only 3 weeks. As for his Nob Hill picture, I think it was intentional that it wasn't his best. He's looking down enough where you can see he's handsome but not enough for certain identification.
I told him that picture did not do him justice. I think he wanted it that way.

He's been on my bucket list.

Anyone have any experience with Corvin in DC?
He is coming to Seattle. Cute.

Victor is a big YES! Handsome, very masculine in a natural way, muscular, personable and sweet. He is tall, 6"1', but gentle and easy going. I've gotten to know him a bit, nice guy. Every once in awhile, he'll say something funny or provocative (Brazilian accent). He's an athlete (anyway you want to think) and does a lot of sports. If you had fantasies about that popular athlete in school, here he is...Second time I saw him, he was doing strip tease with a towel and was quite good. I remember long ago, he was a headliner according to website. Thought he was paired with another Brazilian. I was not there. Does anyone know? Did he shoot onstage as they did years ago or have full on sex, with audience watching? Blows my mind because he's so attractive.
Is Nob still open? I heard it had closed. Victor advertised independently in the past before I met him, but said he no longer did last week met up. Wonder if he does now. Great guy.

Wayne and I are seriously considering Inndulge for next year, instead of Canyon Club. It seems to be where most of the cool kids are staying.
We drove back home today. Had an AMAZING time, as always. This was our 7th year in a row, and I swear, they just get better and better. Many, MANY thanks to @Oliver and @Epigonos for everything they do to make this event a tremendous success year after year, and thank you to everyone who attended. We love you guys. We look forward to this weekend all year, and we're already eagerly looking forward to next year's. See you then!

Indulge is pricier, but much nicer than Canyon Club. Also, there are many perks life a good breakfast and free happy hour. It was not short on good company. I was very pleased.

Looks like a winner. And there are always the ubiquitous itinerant Brazilians.

Do we have dates for next year yet?
I had a terrific time, and it was great reconnecting with old friends and making new ones. Such a comfortable friendly nonjudgmental atmosphere. Thank you Oliver for organizing and hosting and Epigonos for the great spread. I won't list everyone else because I will surely forget someone. I couldn't have enjoyed it more.
Ah, found the dates.

I also posted this information in this year's Palm Springs thread, but I've repeated it here so it remains visible for the 2020 gathering. I asked the staff at Inndulge about their pricing (the other popular resort among those attending, Canyon Club, is cheaper), and they said that their rooms are sold at their standard rate from when sales start one year out. As the year passes, the prices may vary so lower rates will potentially be available for those who choose to, or by circumstances have to wait until later to book. They have free nights available, but it's for the seventh night of a stay, so not all that much help for most of us whose stays are shorter.
True. I booked 5 weeks out and paid top dollar, not that it wasn't worth it. I was happy to get a room at all, Cyn Club being sold out. Happily, the crowd at Inndulge was great, so I was not disappointed, and I got to hang out for an afternoon at Canyon Club. Good to see you again by the way.

Irish Chris is a hell of a nice guy. Well built, 30 something. Think he goes under a different name now. Good company. Everyone else is from Brazil, not that there's anything wrong with that.
