This may come off as harsh, but it does indicate a serious condition among these cadets and probably among others. It indicates questionable qualifications for sound judgements or the abilities to be in the command of others. While such activities are not uncommon pitfalls at many institutions of higher learning, I doubt it will be tolerated at West Point.

This entire pandemic scenario has been and continues to be surreal to me. I'm baffled how it is that so many of the Earth's varied populations have and continue to disregard the cautions and recommendations of medical professionals in favor of the half-baked theories of politicians, celebrities, or Internet trolls. I would love to know what is it that has convinced so many they can dictate to a pandemic.
