It is going to be more than interesting to observe future storm activity. It must have been fifteen years ago I saw/heard a young meteorologist speaking on television. His message was that we had dragged our feet for too long before effectively addressing climate change. He believed it to be too late to do anything. Then he was suddenly gone. I spent a lot of time since then hunting on the internet for some evidence of the guy, but I haven't been able to find anything. My paranoia has fueled my suspicion that he was "advised" against advancing his theory.

I'm glad I took the time to read this thread. I had neither seen nor heard about "pig butchering" before reading this thread. When I was a child, friends took me to a traditional pig butchering, which rendered me traumatized for weeks. -
