Thank you @MscleLovr for not seeing my response as critical. I believe your thought that being non-American can give you a different perspective of terms such as "get the vibe" is spot-on. For me, your use of "smart" and "personable" gave me a different impression from your use of "rather dull and a poor conversationalist." One thing is certain, you have the envy of many by having met Dr. Boselli in person socially.

I have re-read the @IndyGuy post a few times because your response to it suggested it was offensive in some way. I'm just curious as to what I might be missing in IndyGuy's post that is inappropriate. IndyGuy's post does not imply "huge assumptions," only a "vibe," and your response seems to closely confirm the same qualities in Dr. Boselli that IndyGuy perceived from his vibe. Please understand my inquiry is not a critique or a judgement, only a probe into my reading comprehension.

When I was young, I would become angry by being summarily dismissed because I'm black, but aging and life experience made me understand that "I am what I am" and that I like what I am. I have a different perception of preference. I don't perceive it as a myth or a limitation. When I was young and active my preference was for Asian hotties (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Filipino, etc.), but it was a preference, not a requirement. I was also chasing the Spanish hotties. And, this will give you a chuckle, I just gave up on the black hotties...not because of any racial considerations...the ones that got my attention were tops and just too big. I must have been in the wrong line at the penis bar.

What I intended to convey is that the scope of racism is too great to be assigned to gender, sexual orientation or dating sites. It is also a mistake to charge racism based on a declining of physical intimacy.
