On a whim today I called an old high school friend who lives in San Francisco. In the conversation he mentioned that 7 years ago he used a mortgage broker and was very happy with him. The guy now lives down here. So, I called him, and long story short, he says he can get me a loan with closing costs less than half of what I have going. Whimsy! I'll stop this discussion now, but @ceej, I may have a question for a PM down the line! Thanks to all who contributed.

Then you are missing out! You are one of the most prolific posters here. You can be proud of your contributions, no?
-
Interesting. There are posts from CheekCar that don't show up n the thread either. But thanks for the lesson.

I have looked at the whole thread and I don't find the post you quote. But you found it 8 minutes ago. Color me confused.

Every time I see the thread title about making final arrangements, I think Will and Last Testament, Durable Power of Attorney, Healthcare Wishes, etc. I am glad that @Unicorn is making arrangements, but I doubt that they will be final.

@WilliamM, we don't take all of this too seriously, do we? It's just a little fun. Now, will you hit 45,000 posts this year or next? Tomorrow, maybe?
-
Why would I want to do that?

He came to me! Very nice guy. I wonder what happened with him.

All Worlds Resort Palm Springs - 5 or so years ago?

I can't give a "like" to the post from @MikeBiDude or @Charlie since what they report would really get a "sad." It should be a thriving town right now, but it's not. Kinda cold, too. -
I did! ?

Quite frankly, I can't see where filming is going to consume his life. Surely since he introduced himself here he should respond to inquiries from here, even if only to say sorry, I am busy.
-
Well, I followed through and will be hearing from a lender.
-
Does that detract or add to the ass being nice?
-
Well, then. There you go!

You mean to say that the details are not in your journal? I'm surprised. Yes, I did set up what I called a Hooville Weekend back when it was Hooboy's site. The purpose was for members to meet each other, but we recognized that eye candy would help get them here. The first weekend there were 14 attendees. Oliver has raised that amount considerably. But then, I don't have a pool!

So I went to the Costco site. I am an executive member. Mutual of Omaha had the same terms as Rocket Mortgage, but the lender costs were capped at $250 plus appraisal fee...good, huh? And then this: * Estimated Total Fees is a combination of lender fees including application, commitment and processing fees, as well as other third party fees such as appraisal, flood certification, credit report, etc. Due to the complexity of state by state charges, this does not include title, escrow, transfer tax, or recording fees. Lender fees are not to exceed $250 per transaction for Costco Executive Members, and $550 for Gold Star and Business Members Payment estimates shown do not include taxes or insurance and will be higher once included. The fees represented are not all inclusive – additional closing fees may be incurred upon approval of your loan application. A full quote of all fees and charges specific to your situation will be provided by the lender in the form of the Loan Estimate. *** So it's not at all clear.

@marylander1940 there is no doubt that many guys get into the sex trade for immediate cash and don't save it or even spend it wisely. One can confidently say that without any research. Wouldn't you think that's true of young men in general? Their immediate needs take precedence over their long term needs. Of course, that's my opinion after years, decades even, of watching the trade.
-
No doubt you have researched this!

There's actually a whole thread on the Palm Springs Weekend. It is pinned at the top of this forum. But I will mention one thing at a previous Weekend that entertained me...Jason Carter rising nude from the hot tub in full glory! That alone was worth the trip!

Wow! Sorry about that! This link is from last summer, but does seem to be the same article: https://www.nytimes.com/2020/06/01/travel/bangkok-thailand-food-markets.html?searchResultPosition=2

Part of the problem is that there are too many options. I have started the process with Rocket Mortgage but will take a look at the Costco site. Thanks for the link @ceej .

The neighbors aren't happy with Justin's plan... https://pagesix.com/2020/12/31/justin-biebers-new-years-eve-concert-location-revealed/

Have you ever wanted to attend a Justin Bieber concert? Tonight you can, for only $25, and you don't have to leave the house. That's $25, no matter how many are watching your TV. T-Mobile customers can see it for free. Now I am not particularly knowledgeable about Justin's music, but, other than those awful tattoos, I like him and think he is good-looking. But, I probably won't watch. You can tell us all about it! https://www.nme.com/en_asia/news/music/justin-bieber-to-close-out-the-year-with-new-years-eve-livestream-gig-2846606
