  1. Flaky people are everywhere. I don't understand the rudeness of not communicating appropriately.
  2. How would that work @Benjamin_Nicholas?
  3. I enjoy so many of your posts, both the hot pix and the humorous content.
  4. You make a good point.

  6. Here are the search results for Santiago Resort: https://www.companyofmen.org/search/?q=Santiago resort&quick=1&search_and_or=and I will let you find the Hacienda...
  7. Have you performed a search for these places? They have been discussed many times.
  8. Once again icons have been borked. The fact is that the dislike icon is an important reaction.
  9. ...except when eating?
  10. Those who loved to drop the e from escort can now take it even further. No providers, just 'roviders!
  11. Reviews shouldn't be written to please the provider. Truth is necessary, otherwise why have reviews at all?
  12. If intelligent people avoid jury duty, who is left to decide some very important cases?
  13. The Yankees last week gave us a no-hitter, a triple play, a walk-off walk, and numerous wins. All in all, a good week to be a Yankee fan!
  14. Thanks, @jjkrkwoodfor that info. I have followed that advice, as well as that of @MikeBiDudeand erased the pictures. Now I am a happy camper again1
  15. Of course that's possible. But the image of the "provider" with a pipe is a huge turn off. I doubt I would ever like that!
  16. @Jim_n_NYC Can you see my posts? 😏
  17. I was at Fenway Park in 1967 on my way to the Montreal Expo. I enjoyed the experience, but nothing about it made me a Red Sox fan.
  18. The article may be behind a paywall. https://www.latimes.com/sports/angels/story/2021-05-23/angels-shohei-ohtani-dominance-influenced-comic-book-character
  19. I know that a lot of work has gone into this, but to be honest, I hate the new format. I have been posting here since 2002 so far as I can tell, so I am used to the older format. Sorry.
  20. I could swear that I look so much better with the new formatting! Thanks, @Radiorob!
  21. The NY Times has a more in-depth look at the issue today: https://www.nytimes.com/2021/05/15/nyregion/nyc-pride-nypd-banned.html?action=click&module=In%20Other%20News&pgtype=Homepage As for the relevance of the parade, think of young gays newly out and the thrill they get from flaunting their orientation to the world on Gay Pride Day. Their confidence in who they are is reinforced by the crowds. Us old fogies typically don't need that reinforcement, but I remember when I also shared that thrill. Parades now rather bore me, but it wasn't always the case.
  22. I sure hope to return. It's an interesting and beautiful place.
  23. It's mind boggling, so I just give you the article about the gay cops being banned from the gay parade in New York: https://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/ny-nyc-pride-bans-nypd-gay-officers-action-league-20210515-hhf2iizxvvcqhjo766nfl3yvh4-story.html It's part of a trend that began around 2019: https://www.nytimes.com/2019/06/26/us/pride-parade-police-cops.html
