Why did they change the name of the town featured in the play?
-
The new production is not nearly as good. It’s almost a completely different show.
-
I’ve never seen a vibrator large enough to meet my needs.
-
This production is not the traditional Our Town. I saw that with Spalding Grey as the narrator many years ago and was mesmerized despite sitting high in the balcony.. My seat was much better, but this production left me cold. It caught none of the emotions that Thornton Wilder elicits when produced traditionally. Yes, I got sleepy. Jim Parsons as narrator just seemed in a hurry to get the show over with.

Is anyone going to Sao Paolo Gay Pride? The Parade is on June 22d. I'd like to go.
-
Will they be closing the gay ones, or just the straight ones?

When I was looking at homes in Palm Springs area 20 years ago, Cathedral City was viewed pretty negatively. Certainly not many doctors lived there.
-
Your point? Are you saying that these unknown sexual assaults would skewer the 3-1 stat I quote?
-
If it isn't rimming, then what fun is it?
-
There are law enforcement statistics that show that 75% of sexual aggressors are male on female. That stat was presented to me years ago, but I see no evidence that it has changed.

I prefer an all-male spa.

I hear he called it his pecker and kept it in his pants, bringing it out only for select holes. Why wasn't this known when he was alive? Or maybe it was and my lack of interest in golf made me ignore it. Now it's revealed in all its glory by a jealous ...guy with small hands. (I thought I had posted this in the Sports forum.)

And when would that be? 😛

Such a positive outlook.

Got my second Shingles shot - have no fear, ask me anything!

Today I got my flu shot and then went to the doctor, where he gave me a second installment of the pneumonia vaccine. I asked about the RSV show, and he said I got it last year, with booster due next year. I was surprised. The best news was that for the first time in years my weight is under 200 lbs. That had ramifications on the blood sugar and the cholesterol. -
I found Detroit to be surprisingly fun. The crowds at Comerica Park are wild. Downtown Detroit has been cleaned up and has an urban feel that does not overwhelm. So many buildings torn down, but many old ones still standing and looking classic after refurbishment. I liked the People Mover too! The Courtyard by Marriott Downtown has absolutely the finest hotel staff of any hotel I have visited. So helpful and friendly. I didn't bother looking for gay life, just as I didn't when I lived there. Of course, then I was only 5 years old!

I guess that I should be embarrassed to say that I had never heard of RSV and still don't know why I need a vaccine against it. -
All apologies accepted! The fact is that the Palm Springs Weekend has been going on for a long time now. Yes, I started it, but @Oliver is the one who turned it into the big success it has become. Kudos!

The first Palm Springs Weekend was in 2005.

There have been numerous posts attempting to discourage folks from visiting Brazil because of safety issues. Some of these posts involve incidents that happened years ago. First, I concede that nowhere is perfectly safe. Accidents and incidents can happen no matter where you travel. But I am putting my 3 cents in on Brazil. It was my tenth, and longest visit. I spent two weeks there and had an absolute blast. I have never, ever, been so popular at the saunas. The weather was great, the people friendly, the food delicious. And not once did I feel threatened by anything or anybody around me. I just ask those considering a visit to think about this when deciding they want to visit somewhere fun.

Brazil.

Among the many places I have never visited is Manila. Perhaps the location is a deterrent, but I also have the idea that it is more of a third world country with lots of poverty. That wouldn't stop me from going, but I can't come up with any incentives to plan a visit when there is so much competition for my gay dollar. So, for those who have been, what are the highlights? Thanks.

And you felt it was necessary to post that opinion. Why not just don't hire the guy, move on, and let him pursue his business?
