  1. That literally would never occur to me. I wonder how they pick who get's to canoodle with you first? I would for sure want to be the first one up to bat :-)
  2. Hey! I have booked a room at All Worlds. Let me know if anyone needs accommodation and can't find it (I think the resort was just about sold out when I booked) you are welcome to half of the bed....and hopefully some of you are staying there as well. Totally looking forward to it. David
  3. I HEARTILY recommend the Chicago Athletic Association hotel if you want a cool downtown location; the staff is super laid back and valet / parking is easy. It has the perk of having a rooftop deck if clients want to hang out an it has a superb place to eat called the cherry circle room. https://www.chicagoathletichotel.com/about If you want a non gay neighborhood experience, check out the Robey Hotel in Bucktown. Awesome building, valet parking, great neighborhood. https://www.therobey.com/ If you want something affordable / young / cool, check out the Freehand. Part of the building is hostel, and part of the building are hotel rooms. It was designed by Roman and Williams out of NYC, so the style is there. https://freehandhotels.com/chicago/rooms/ And I would also highly recommend the Ace Hotel int he West loop. awesome neighborhood, easy parking, really cool. http://www.acehotel.com/chicago And, if you are looking for an airbnb situation in the middle of the gay nightclub strip (and full disclosure, I own an interest in this though i do not manage it) I know for a fact this airbnb will be perfectly fine to see clients in. Reach out and I can share a link,
  4. Yes. That fellow pushed every single good button. I made out with him on his couch like I was a 14 year old high school boy...it was glorious.
  5. If Jacob is still in Toronto...I wrote a review about him a bit ago. He was some of the best sex I have ever had in my life.
  6. My mom bought her painting directly from Keith Haring in his NYC studio, and she and my dad met Basquiat on the same visit. My mom fell in love with a painting, but my dad refused to even consider it. He used to tell the story of 'she spent a lot of money on an ugly pink painting on a cardboard maytag box from a f**, but I put my foot down when she wanted to buy a painting from a black guy who had a crack pipe out when we were there to see his work.' My mum swears the painting later sold for 50 million to a Japanese fellow....my dad probably should have listened to her.
  7. My folks were big art collectors...when I chose an aol screen name is the 90s, there was a painting hanging over the desk by Keith Haring and for whatever reason I decided it would be a catchy choice. The screen name (and the painting, which is currently trussed up in my living room) has been following be around ever since. I am actually not that huge of a fan.
  8. Hey! Are there any forum members who are interested in taking a trip to Barcelona and might want a travel friend? I am super interested in checking out the 'guys for rent' scene at the saunas, the city, maybe hiring an extended tour guide, etc. Me: late 30s average non smoking fellow who lives in Chicago. I am nice. My friends all think that my interest in rent boys is perverted.
  9. I always use the term sexual congress....I think it is left over from being partially raised by an old English lady; a lot of her speech oddities snuck into my language skills. Though why I would have picked up that phrase from her I don't know.
  10. So I am going on week three of having my place painted (the painters are all cute polish guys, so there's that....but I am still about to loose my mind) and decided to run away to the desert from Saturday-Monday. Fingers crossed it will all be done when I return and the stink of oil paint will have left the building...and that one of the painters will have decided to take a nap in my bed while waiting for me. I was out in PS a couple of months ago and tried to book three or four guys, all of which were not available / did not respond / all of the things fellows do. Any recommendations for a reliable, nice guy. I am looking for a bottom, non smoker....I know the season has passed out there and it seems like the available fellows are not very present. Thanks!
  11. We look forward to your review: https://www.daddysreviews.com/submit
  12. Am I the only one that keeps looking at his ad...this guy is a good looking fellow!
  13. The idea of using travel sized shampoo bottles for lube is AWESOME! I always try and pack those flat packets of lube, which are hard to open up and use. Never again.
  14. I thought I would bump up a thread about my experiences in Palm Springs at various resorts. Thus far, I have experienced four of the clothing optional resorts, an two of the more main stream places. The Parker Fancy place, Jonathan Adler designed. Beautiful grounds; I was there for a wedding, which they seem to do a lot of. It was really costly; I think my total bill for the weekend was almost 2 grand (but that did include some meals and drinking). I would skip it, but head there for brunch or lunch if you want to see it. The Ace I checked this out for a friends birthday weekend...the firm that designed it is called Commune, and they did an awesome job. Very sort of 60s chic vibe, they took an old motor lodge and made it cool. The clientele are very (well, to be blunt) douch-ey. Entitled 25 to 35 year old folks. Lot's of well done breast implants. The old school diner charged $16 for eggs and toast. I had fun, but mostly because of the block of friends that I went there with. It was more expensive than it was worth. The Century Gay, clothing optional. Small resort, 10 or 12 rooms. This was my first clothing optional experience, which was not as weird as I thought it would be. It really does not matter if you want to be naked or not. I thought the hotel was really cool, but also a little bit late 90s dated...but I now know that it is pretty chic as far as palm springs clothing optional goes. The hotel is small enough that everyone is super friendly with each other, and they do a magical 5 PM cocktail hour that really makes everyone hang out and chat. Great staff, friendly owners as well. The hot tub is super fun. The vibe is not overtly sexual, though I think some naughty times happens....it is more discrete and not creepy. My only complaint (seriously) is that the sliding doors are a little bit janky to try and lock....I would advise against bringing anything expensive with you so you don't have to worry about keeping the room secured. It is in Warm Sands, parking is easy...you can grab lunch if you take a 10 minute walk up the street and you can be to downtown PS in about a 25 minute walk / $8 uber ride. The folks that stay there tend to be sort of well heeled gay guys, 30-50ish. The Canyon Club OK, so it's pretty much a bath house. The check in counter has a lube display if that tells you anything. Outstanding downtown location. The pictures online are not accurate...they make it look sort of nautical and pretty, but the place has a seedy sort of rundown late 80s vibe. I kept wondering why the coke dispenser room smelled like lube until I realized it abutted a dark room sort of area. My room was cleanish with stained brown carpeting and was so un stylish that it was sort of honest about it. The crowd during the day skewed older (40 to 60) and they sell day passes, so outside folks were coming in to hang out. I was there for two nights, on night #1 I had a fun time hanging out with a guy visiting from out of town and on night #2 I had really good sex with a 25 year old fellow who must have been there on a day pass...he knocked on my room window and I got to know his bubble butt very well. The vibe was friendly-ish and a little bit skanky, which I did not mind. This place is very affordable and the location is awesome. El Mirasol Villas Not a fan. Sort of friendly staff (well, I only met one guy working there). Beautiful landscaping in general, two pools. They will loan you a porn DVD at reception but I did not get a sexual vibe at all. I had booked a room there for 4 nights, ended up moving hotels after one night; I think there are 20 rooms (give or take) but I only saw 4 other guests. One fellow was mid 50s and so tan he resembled tree bark, one mid 70s gay couple who were cute but passed a lot of gas while sunbathing, and one fellow who was in his room the entire time but had a procession of escorts come and go from it...I would assume he was the most interesting out of the lot. I think it was just not the right place for me. The room was TACKY...aggressively fake mexican furnishings. I would rather a space be taste free instead of tasteless. I think if you wanted a quiet couples only weekend this would be a great place to do it. After one night I realized I would rather pay for two rooms than remain any longer. All Worlds This place is also pretty much a bath house. The main resort is a big compound with (four?) pools, one small hot tub, and a wide array of buildings. All ages of people were there. They sell day and night passes, which brings a lot of people in. I had a lot of fun; there is a really active and super friendly dark room setup and they do a fun Sunday BBQ in the afternoon. Nice staff. Rooms were a little bit beat up but fine. There were guys there in their 20s all the way to 70s. The main resort is very busy, lot's going on. The Annex, which is across a street from it, has it's own pool and hot tub and is super quiet. My room was back there, and was nice...I think I would rather be in the main resort but the annex would be better if you wanted someplace quieter. I had a lot of sex there, which was kind of fun. Three problems: There was a lot of drug use. Lot's of smoking pot (whatever) but also a major group of people on crystal meth. They all seemed to know each other, so maybe it was just a drug friends vacation situation but grindr was full of people in the resort referring to crystal and one guy actually sat in a chair by the pool with a thing tied off around his arm...I thought he was going to shoot up right there. The owner was present, and was having an argument with his 'boy toy', which apparently change often...that was weird energy. It also got a little bit creepy at night back in the annex. I was a little weirded out by the drug guys, and did not feel 100% safe....I was up stupid early on Sunday morning and hopped into the hot tub with a book at 7 AM and was joined with two super sketch guys who were on substances and were still up from the night before. I actually had a lot of fun staying there, though I think I would probably book rooms again at the Century (just a block over) and get a day pass to hang out at All Worlds.
  15. his ad states that he is 29 years old? Hrm.

    Bidets

I put on in a clients house and made the mistake of playing with the buttons on the control pad while taking a pee. Water literally shot out and hit the ceiling and all over me.
  17. I swear by the free section on craigslist. I had a sad moment with a HUGE pile of magazines (I turned 18 in 1998 and started buying three or four porn magazines a month until probably 2008) that I hated to just throw away and tossed it on CL...I had 20 or 30 responses and the collection went off to a good home. Ive done the same with old mattresses, clothes, just about anything.
  18. I see so many cute fellows with such huge tattoos, and they just make me loose interest. When I was a teenager, I remember the lectures from my overbearing, difficult, screechy voiced mum who has basically been 70 years old her entire life. Most of them were not relevant to the life of any sane adolescent, but the one that actually made sense was her absolute loathing of anyone who got a tattoo. Everything from 'they did that to our people at the camps' to 'I want to make sure I can bury you in a Jewish cemetery when you die'....oddly enough, when she actually turned 70 a few years ago and got 'permanent makeup' applied to her eyebrows (making her look sort of like a wrinkled, terrifying version of catwoman) and lips (making her look like a vegas hooker at a long night of work) we had a blowout argument about that being the same / looking s bad as a tattoo. I digress. I buzzed down to Indianapolis to visit her last weekend and while in situ in my adolescent bedroom, I decided to sneak out for a meeting with a great looking fellow off of rentmen. And managed to not notice in his ad that he had massive star shaped tattoo messes all over his chest (oy) which was a letdown. (though he looked quite nice facedown, so all was not lost). The entire time I kept thinking 'oh, god those will look terrible when you are 50' but on my way home realized I would likely be mostly dead by the time he was 50, so I did not have to worry about it.
  19. I have booked a room at the El Mirasol resort (everything else was booked, but interested to check it out) from April 13-17...I would love to pre-meet anyone else who is staying there and have half of a queen bed if anyone needs a spot to stay. Though I snore, fair warning. I was just at the Canyon club about a month ago...previously I had been at the Century for a week of holiday but snuck away for one night at Canyon Club, curious about the vibe there (and having only experience the Century). It was such a 180, and I am still a little bit unsure if I liked it or not. I took time to 'meet the other guests' that evening and had fun, but was not expecting folks to be tapping at my window for the rest of the night, which was halfway flattering but also annoying. I also had that moment of 'ok, please be considerate that I have to sleep in this bed tonight' with the trio that I was visiting with (and felt so midwestern!).
  20. (glad I am not the only one who has been stood up by him, and also glad that I am not a jerk for being annoyed at waiting for an 8 PM meeting and getting the text at 8:15 asking if we still wanted to hang out)
  21. Heads up, I just got a note back from Jeff thanking me for the letter I sent him and letting me know that he had gotten some other notes from guys and that they all meant a lot. He included a photocopied letter describing what was going on in prison and the general info about what the experience has been like for him...as I read it I kept thinking 'what a ridiculous waste of taxpayer money to lock this guy up'. If you haven't, take a moment to write the guy a note.
  22. OK, so I personally found a lot of happiness via rentboy. RIP. I am sure a lot of the forum members kept an eye on the take down and trial. Anyway, the founder is in a federal facility for 6 months. It might make him happy to get some mail from people. Here is his mailing address: Jeffrey Hurant 86208-053 FCI Otisville PO Box 1000 Otisville, NY 10963 From what I understand (which could be all wrong) when writing a letter to a person in prison: Use only white paper, no colored paper or greeting cards (those can get returned under the guards discretion) and no perfume, stickers, anything like that. Include his full mailing address on the note. Sometimes the envelopes get scrapped, or damaged, so include your return address info on it if you want him to have a record that you reached out. Include a full return name and address on the envelope or it will get discarded without opening. Rules seem to conflict about enclosing things; it seems like up to 5 pages of paper is ok, as are pictures that are enclosed or included int he note. No dirty pictures. Everything else will be considered contraband and discarded. I think you can also send softcover books and magazines, which I think might be a great thing to do.
  23. The emails they sent to me were just cruel intentioned. They got me so worked up in a tizzy that I deleted everything so I would not obsess over it all. They let me know that I was already fat and old and would die alone....and something about the way they phrased it made me think that the same note went out to a lot of folks!
  24. So, I found one website (it took some digging) that is kind of doing the same thing for gay guys. Called hand in hand, it seemed legit...and form first hand experience, the guys in CZ are just lovely creatures. I send them a note of inquiry, they sent a response that ended up in my junk mail folder and there was a day or two delay before I noticed it...and then a barrage of mean spirited / horrible notes from them followed. In some ways I had to laugh, because insults written by someone who has english as a second language are kind of awesome....but whoever it is running this agency is not a nice person. http://www.gay-man-introductions.com/finding_czech.htm
  25. Three years ago (during a particularly harrowing holiday season) I gave myself the goal of being happily hitched by 2018. Yep, well, that one crept up on me. Needing a fun distraction in my life leads me to ask...you hear about the proverbial mail order bride, but does the same thing exist for gay guys? Ideally I would find a cute Canadian or English guy to hitch up with and exchange citizenship with, but I think I could be pretty happy with a sweet guy wanting to live in the US and take me along with the package deal :-)
