  1. @Kuriousity was because of the discussions, not because he hires. He also seems to no longer be a member of the forum. His handle can no longer be found through a search.
  2. I hate inefficiency and discomfort and would feel unwelcome in a messy room (which may also be a smelly room). It also wastes time. Someone whose apartment is messy would by definition be less hot to me because consideration goes hand in hand with hotness for me. Working around a small space is (within reason) a different matter. Different strokes for different folks, so to speak. Telling someone to whom it matters to suck it up is a way of imposing your views on them. Sorry, I think that's uncalled for.
  3. Even in the US, it's nobody's business if his porn career occurred before he began teaching, as it appears. Proof that he escorted might be another matter.
  4. It's all a matter of personal preference. Mick Jagger (who covered a song called "Cocksucker's Blues" back in the day) John Boyega Park Jimin "Worldwide Handsome" Kim Seokjin (Jin), his Hollywood celebrity crush was Brad Pitt even though the interviewer had asked for the name of an actress, probably because he was tired of being asked the same questions over and over again. Jin declined to change his answer to something more conventional. Some of the younger members adroitly avoided answering.
  5. Merry Christmas to you too! They were all over the age of 18 by the time of this performance, though in one case only by a few days. The oldest was 21. There's a bigger age gap with the group that covered La Bamba. The eldest was born in 1994 and the youngest in 2000.
  6. "La Bamba" - "La Bamba" is a Mexican folk song, so in a sense they're are all covers, although Richie Valens was the first to perform it in a rock and roll style. Richie Valens (1958) Los Lobos (1987) Astro (2017)
  7. Another cover of "Feliz Navidad" along with "Jingle Bells" in Korean.
  8. Except that's not the way the term is used, which is why I dislike it as well as the term feminine.
  9. I much prefer the musculature of ballet dancers to that of bodybuilders. They're probably in better overall shape, too.
  10. Because it's assumed that the cause of heterosexuality, without which the species wouldn't continue to exist, is obvious. I think more traits are attributed to evolution than is justified, but the idea that heterosexuality is evolutionarily preferred seems like one of the better-justified ones.
  11. More accurate to say @&*#ing drivers! Bad driving isn't the sole province of one group. Biggest booboo I've seen male drivers make: meandering/not staying in their lane.
  12. "Bareback" is way more palatable to me than "breed," which doesn't even make sense in this context.
  13. Irrespective of how unsurprising the revelations are, it's indiscreet and boastful. "Look who I know!"
  14. I remember Morning Pro Musica, although I probably heard it on another NPR station. I didn't listen to public radio when I lived in Boston.
  15. Current earworm: This is the song whose chorus is excerpted in my signature. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8x1SOa1IgoQ This as much "what are you looking at these days" - perfect combination of vocals, rap and dance. What are you listening to these days?
  16. A little seasonal humor (also a nod to the fires in SoCal): source
  17. PNP in an ad is not about what the escort does on his own time.
  18. This was 1975. We had co-ed dorms and no curfew. Also it was a state university campus in the godless northeast.
  19. No, it was my partner's room and his roommate who was embarrassed. I spent the night there instead of in my dorm room with my roommate and her boyfriend. I don't know about you but I don't make it a practice to lock doors in other people's homes or rooms.
  20. Not if you have a long enough investment horizon. Over time, the stock market outperforms all other asset classes. Not being invested in the stock market knocks a lot off rate of return. That still requires diversification within asset classes (foreign vs. domestic, developed vs. developing, capitalization, growth vs. income) so not all of your investments are dropping in value at once as well as diversification across asset classes. But lifetime investments not needed in the near term can be up to 75-80% invested in equities. Also market timing is mostly a matter of luck.
  21. As a theoretical matter, what actually happens trumps the words used to spin it. As a practical matter, not mentioning sex when fees are discussed makes it impossible to prosecute without engaging in sex, which the police generally cannot do. It's the refusal to discuss sex that matters, not the disclaimer.
  22. He was also quoting (or paraphrasing) Thoreau. Sex worker rights are human rights. That's why human rights organizations like Amnesty International support decriminalization.
  23. If I remember correctly, they start out at three or six months. What I do remember is that in New York, the penalty for solicitation is longer than that for prostitution. I'm not sure that's unique, but it's unusual.
  24. I think you have confused sex therapists and sex surrogates. I'm not sure there are any sex surrogates anymore anyway and they work solely on specific issues, like impotence or premature ejaculation.
