I worked all my life in a university setting where faculty and others thought they had free access to any site any time. I disagree and say, you are at work, you should not be using the time to search certain web sites, although faculty would say it was for research purposes. Come on, while we enjoy the freedom to see such sites as this use discretion. If not, stop your bitching

OK, not an exciting post but wanted to check with others about any assistance you can provide using siri for directions. I would say, siri, directions to NYC, and she'd respond getting directions. They'd show up on my phone but would also get verbal instructions. Now suddenly no verbal directions; anyone experiencing same or how to fix. I know use something else, but siri has been right on target, thanks

Well I thought this was about parents drinking so a bit confused about some of the responses. My father was a bartendar all his life and a World War 2 vet when the American Legion and VFW flourished. He drank heavily but so did his friends. My mother would drink coffee through the day but had some wine or a scotch fizz on the rocks but would also be up at 4am to go to work. So I grew up in a household of hard drinking and hard smoking family but it was common and I didn't know any better.

As I was talking with my financial adviser he was a bit surprised at my discretionary spending amount and asked me. Well as I have recently retired and my life has suddenly been passing me by, I would say I have been scared to come out. I know for some of you that is a coward issue, but for me I havent been able to do so.

I seek your help. I'm retiring the end of this week after 46 years on the job so to speak. Had a great professional career, did good, etc. But I am over weight and know that. Now covid didn't help much although I was in the office every day but I didn't get up and about as much, and that wasn't much, as I should. Hello everyone. Well, I'm not getting my spirits up as my birthday is December 30! Be getting closer to 70 years old. Or they’ll be a regular a couple times or so, but then do things to irritate me here and there over the phone, and it sours the relationship.

 

It’s bugging me because at a time like now (it’s been dead and I have urgent things to handle), I look back on the appointments I’ve had over the past year in my local area, and only 2 have been a regular so far. But now I’m down to 1. Granted I travel often so I have regulars in other cities. But I’ve reached out to several to see about reschedule, they may say yes... but then don’t follow back up. Then I hear about another escort coming to town saying he’s got a couple regulars he’s seen last time he was here...and that just makes me feel like, I can imagine these guys are still in the hiring circuit, but for whatever reason, they aren’t reliable to the local guys. And I can tell because the listings in Kansas City drop significantly on a regular basis. It’s evident the local guys can’t make it here.

I've been more and more disappointed that scheduling an appointment should be not when I desire. I just ask, I'm available on Friday-Sunday's at such and such a time and have booked appointments. Only to be told, after the time has arrived and gone, well I usually don't do afternoon's or mornings. But that's what we agreed to. I make a commitment at my end on my time and my resources.
