  1. Thanks for reporting back! Always appreciated. It can be hard letting a dancer know you are not interested without offending them. I try to be polite but firm, simply saying no thank you, have a good rest of your night. It is great to see Campus doing so well. Stock needs to figure it out because the demand is there. Montreal is a treasure!!
  2. Hi Anthony, Thanks for the update- much appreciated. I have been going to Stock since before the Ste Catherine location and admire the work you do. I usually visit about every other month and drop a good amount of money. It does seem like there are a good amount of customers, but a shortage of dancers. I don’t know all the reasons for that, but I haven’t been as often due to the roster as is. Compared to how it was pre-pandemic it just isn’t the same. Not trying to be critical, but just providing feedback (which I’m sure you have heard). I would be willing to pay more for dances, $25 or even $30 if that would attract better talent. Just a suggestion. Again thanks for everything. Stock is fantastic and so glad you are addressing the concerns of longtime clientele.
  3. Crowd was good at Campus… lots of women. Full house when I was there. The big dudes weren’t all muscle… just large. But also other types as well.
  4. His body is ridiculous. Love that bubble butt.
  5. I’ve always wanted a dance with Frank… I have to put him on my “list”. Wishing some of the other regulars would return to dancing. Lineup has been a bit scarce.
  6. Went to Campus Friday November 5 around 11:30 pm and it was packed. Seems people are getting out. Club is now open until 3:00 am on weekends. I counted around 10 dancers. Some I recognized from before Covid. A few were really big dudes. Hopefully now that customers have returned, the dancers will follow. Didn’t bother to try Stock. Maybe next time.
  7. I will be heading to Mtl on Friday, October 5! Will report back.
  8. Thanks for the review. Love hearing about the experiences. After a long absence, and saving $, I will be in Montreal Friday June 1. So excited.
  9. I have stopped doing a lap dance a few times after just one song. Not a big deal at all.... just wasn't clicking and simple as that. $20 for 4 minutes of work ... not too shabby for the dancer. One dance is better than none after all. I am hoping to go this Friday night if I can swing it.
  10. Have Fun! Bring cash and don't be shy. I recommend Phillipe at Stock if he's still dancing or Jaycob.
  11. Definitely go to both Stock and Campus, they are just a block away. Bring lots of $20s and don't be shy about going up to a dancer you like and asking for a dance -- he will be happy to oblige. And be prepared to be hit up by lots of dancers -- if not interested, just be direct, but polite, and say no thanks, not tonight. Don't drink too much and have fun!
  12. Thank you Stock Bar for responding -- it is much appreciated. This is a good discussion because it really is a big problem. I have talked to other customers at the bar who this has happened to as well. I think customers may be hesitant to go to management for various reasons: perhaps they don't know who is in charge, they may think the bar is in on it, they don't want to make a scene, they feel cheated and just want to leave, etc... I hope the dancers can understand that this costs them $$ in the long run. They are losing out on repeat business. Something to consider.
  13. Over-counting is such a pervasive problem, it really deters me as a customer. I have been going to clubs for the past 20 years and it can really ruin the experience. First, if I am ever overcharged, even by just one song, I will never do another dance with that dancer. No exceptions. In the long run they lose so much money. They got an extra $20 or $40 from me but it cost them hundreds of dollars in future revenue. Just a poor business decision. I hate the feeling of being hustled. And there are other dancers who are honest I would rather patronize. BTW, I am not senile or going deaf... I can hear the songs and count! There have been times when I paid the correct amount and then told I owe for more songs. If I am mad enough I will stand my ground and simply say "that's all I am paying for.... we can take it up with the manager if you'd like." Then I cross that dancer off my list. Other times I just pay and leave the bar in a bad mood. Only once did I talk to management about it, and they said they'd talk to the dancer. But didn't do me any good. I wish Stock would address this somehow-- it would eliminate conflicts, and I would definitely spend more time/money there. Have some sort of timer or counter in the booth. One place I went to you had to buy tokens and drop them in a box before each song. It resolved the issue... dancers weren't being underpaid (if that's an issue) and customers weren't being overcharged. I like the suggestion of using the stopwatch on my phone. That could be a solution as well. I think Stock is a great club and my experience is that many dancers will try to take advantage by overcounting because most customers will just pay, to avoid a scene, like the posters. However if we don't do business with those dancers and instead direct it towards the honest ones, that will send a message. Thanks to management for taking this matter into consideration.
  14. Hi, I went to Stock Idol one year and it is a great event -- not that crowded. However, once the contest starts most of the dancers were interested in watching it or competing. So if you are looking to get dances, I recommend going early.
