Yes, it means 'separate and distinct'. So queer places are discrete almost by definition. Whether they are discreet is a separate question.

Indeed, things are moving backwards, which is one of the reasons why I find myself thinking about discreet queer spaces and social practices. With so many attacks on lgbtq+ inclusion and rights, queer discretion may become important again as a survival strategy.

Things are moving backwards. And few of us are willing to use a wife and kids as camouflage.

I’ve become one of those older gay men, although I try to balance my nostalgia for how exciting (and at times liberating) those furtive queer spaces felt with how confining and dangerous they were as well. 
Given when and how I came of age as a gay man, I probably will always feel some distrust of mainstream straight society, which is why I wish we still had more spaces than we currently do that felt like they belonged just to us.

There is a HUGE problem with african american folks not knowing how to swim.  I do volunteer work with a group home for teen boys...it took me over a year to get approval from DCFS to enroll all of the boys in swimming classes at the local Y and I had to pay for it personally out of pocket.  The first day they went, only 7 out of almost 60 kids could swim enough to keep from drowning if they fell into a pool.  These kids were panicking to even put their head under water.  
Reading this article made me freak out about the 5 or 6 times I took groups of kids out to the beach and how easily that could have gone sideways.

If you're getting $10,000 a pop and not financially secure after 9 years of it, that's juat EXTREMELY poor money management.

Having a 10 starting point,  obscene Wealth, and lots of time to pamper yourself......for the rest your mileage may vary. 
Still it's good to see someone 4 years away from 80 looking like that.

Jesus. I can't imagine a piece like this selling for almost 300 million!  It's called "Women 3"  He sold it back in 2006. Clearly I don't know art. 
Geffen had 2 houses in LA. One was a house right on the beach in Malibu where he took his porn boys. I was there a few times for dinner and movie nights with friends.  The water comes right up to the back yard. Very cool. Then there was the Beverly Hills location for the important guests.  I didn't go there but I'd heard about the Art. Now I wish I had. 

This penis doctor has a YouTube page where he posts videos of his penis enlargement procedures. He rails against fillers and has a few videos in which he removes fillers that have gone bad. I suspect some of the providers I’m thinking of may have gotten a procedure like the one this doctor provides, since his results look like what I’ve seen in some providers’ profile pictures: better than fillers, but still a bit odd-looking to me.
