It is amazing how outside encouragement goes such a long way.
Now, to the above posts ... surprise! No comment. There is so much good posted above that to pick on it for 1 or 2 things i would be nuts.
BUT....I can't help mentioning that, in one's race to cut calories, it is imperative NOT to skip meals. The body needs calories in order to maintain metabolism which in turn will help burn more calories. If you cut them you then slow your own metabolism and GAIN weight.
Thus, calories in ... calories out doesn't always work.
As far as exercise is concerned, brisk walking is the best medicine! Anywhere, anytime.
