I personally recognized this. I'm pointing to the wider ridiculousness of the practice of clients expecting providers to recruit other providers, and the fact that some providers say yes to another provider trying to recruit them. I think NYC’s most frequent ask for me anyway is 350, with occasional asks above that.

I get asked for my face picture, a deposit sometimes (I’ve learned to never sent those), and all sorts of things. I do get the feeling that some providers want to have a paper trail in case I’m someone who wants to harm them or something.
