Agreed. That's why you ask and verify. If you're on the larger side and/or enjoy jackhammering, it's prudent to let your potential partner know. Well maybe it’s a problem you’re encountering regularly. I don’t. Since I’ve been doing this hobby (almost 10 years or so) only one guy ever has told me one thing and lied about what he was willing to do when we met. So I’m going to venture slightly off topic from the op’s original post. That’s only because I think it’s a little warranted. I always say if you’re unsure of something, ask. I know it can be annoying going through a myriad of ads trying to figure out what is what. However, just asking the working guy will end the frustration much quicker. And if he/she doesn’t respond or is vague move on. Getting frustrated and venting on these forums about it won’t end whatever level of frustration you have. It won’t change the general practices of searching and hiring until the profession is regulated. I don’t think that will happen in our lifetime in this country.
