As @latbear4blk implies, there are a lot of sexy men in DC who are mainstays. I wouldn't say Tristan has gone MIA. He is still recovering. The type of injury he has will take at least 4-6 months to heal (after the surgery). He is a friend. So much so that he and I just came back from a trip. I think he is about to leave the area for a month (in August) and then he'll be back in town. I don't know to what extent he's seeing clients, but he may be focusing on regulars until he's fully recovered. I haven't really asked though. That's speculation on my part.
