It makes sense now. I was going by the statement Andy lack put out-it didn't make sense. Must be corporate legalese-nobody complained to us in 20 years so NBC is not liable for any lawsuits . That is what I was wondering, you don't just fire someone this high on one accusation.

I think what I was trying to say was he has never been accused in 20 years. Accusation comes in this Monday, he is fired Tuesday. Usually they do an investigation-you can't just fire somebody on an accusation-or is that what it has come to now? Unless they had hard proof. My own experience, if that fat Chinese lady is still working-do I just say anything and she should be fired, based on my recollection from decades ago? I believe evidence need to be presented. I guess it is not a court of law and corporations will take action to avoid lawsuits. I just hope it does not devolve into where mere accusations can fell careers. It can't turn into a witch hunt. As someone who experienced the other side -of being harassed by a woman -stayed there because at that time it was the perfect job, I am very sympathetic to victims. To be forced to stay in a job facing sexual harassment/assault because you have a mortgage , kids is soul crushing . There are no easy answers.

No this is not exempting a gay person who committed a crime from the death penalty. This is for not giving death penalty for someone who is gay. No crime was committed-save being gay. Basically this provision was targeted for countries where simply being gay is punishable by death. Apparently there are six or so countries where simply being gay is punishable by death. There were some other provisions-minors, blasphemy , pregnant women etc. I didn't know if there was any fine print that made us vote with the usual suspects. Putting someone to death for being gay in this day and age-I mean what if you visit that country for work and they find you are gay and sentence you to death right there?

One would think the usual suspects-but no-among the countries that rejected this were ole glory USA, China, India, Japan, Botswana. I am stunned the US voted no and also at Japan, India etc. Was there anything nefarious in the subprint? I just don't understand why we would vote no on such an issue-Trump aside. Or is the orange orangutan worse than that far right conservative Pence on social issues too? But Japan and India? China I understand -their criminal justice system is interesting-not that it is right. Botswana was supposed to be a friendly country.

Why should a fat person model behavior that promotes acceptance? That to me suggests something is wrong with a fat person? Chris Christie is a fattie, does he ever apologize for it? Now I don't like him for other reasons, but hey that is politics. When I was a fattie, I accepted it and never felt the need to model my behavior to gain acceptance-that would mean being fake. I accepted myself and flaunted it and had no problem getting laid. Now my partners weren't going to be on GQ, but occasionally did snatch a 10-rare. You gotta be you-if you want to lose weight , great, but again do it for the right reasons-health, maybe wanting to look good etc.
