Well when I had my kids through scientific means , she embraced them whole heartedly and never asked a single question, despite being deeply religious/conservative. I don't know if I could have gotten through those initial stages. The kids are close -almost a surrogate mother. So just makes sense.

Family looking at options-luckily medicare eligible age, but talking options of in home care -adamantly does not want to be in a home with no family around. it is tough.

I was sick and very delirious in a semi conscious state. They were doing a lot of tests, turned out to be something very minor coupled with flu . I saw my two late uncles who seemed to be sitting in the chair in the hospital bed. They told me not to worry and that I had a long time here and would live to see my grandkids. At that time I didn't have kids and I was gay(still am, though on occasion am seeing women in a somewhat attractive light), so it was odd. It was almost like a two way conversation-once I got better never saw them again. I don't know if it was the stuff they had me on and my state of semi-conscious, but at that time seemed very normal/real-as real as talking to someone next to you. I did end up having kids through scientific means-perhaps a coincidence? It wasn't a spooky experience, seemed completely normal at the time. Who knows we are all born, then exist in this world and then are gone. I also saw my childhood dog in that experience comforting me-weird. Maybe it was my mind making stuff up-who knows? Never had that again.
