I think in historical times, sexulaity was far more fluid without labels. Expectation was that you would get married and have kids at some point, but until then, nobody probably cared what others were doing in the privacy of their rooms. Depends on how many appointments he has and how many are incall. What if he is in the middle of a message and you are stuck outside? Are you talking one bedroom with just one entrance to apartment?
