  1. This is not the norm. This remains the exception. Just keep that in mind.
  2. Got tix for opening night. The cast changes are small, but interesting. I think this show will be a very tough ticket through the holidays.
  3. Most of KW still allows smoking. The gay bars are rife with it. Island House allows it in specific areas on property.
  4. Manny Jacinto is eye candy, indeed. He's also gotten visibly more muscular in this season, likely from also filming the Top Gun remake.
  5. Saw this tonight. Wildly uneven in spots, but hey, Cooper is a first time director. It happens. While she had a strong out-of-the-gate performance, the music in the film felt like B-sides to an Adele album. Nothing that even came close to what Harold Arlen wrote for the Garland/Mason version.
  6. There's always someone who's willing and wanting to build a better mousetrap. RM goes away. That leaves a hole in the market. Someone would step up.
  7. Yep. The upside to all of it is that people who own their houses are now sitting on a ton of equity
  8. Great news and a fantastic post to share with anyone who's sexually active
  9. That's now cheap for KW. Try finding a hotel in-season for less than $400/night. It's almost impossible. The little island has now become the big machine, thanks a lot to those damned cruise ships. Locals can't afford to be locals anymore.
  10. The property remains in decent shape. Season is coming up and prices will stay high ($350/night+) at IH through late March. The perks are all still there (included bar during happy hour, 24-hour cafe, porn on room TVs). With fewer and fewer gay B&Bs operating in KW, this is probably the most 'fun and frisky' one of the few left. Due to the price, you don't see a lot of younger gay guys staying there, but they do come in using a day pass. I still say that Alexander's is the winner for best service, solace and design. https://islandhousekeywest.com/ http://www.alexanderskeywest.com/
  11. That first video proves how incredibly foolish people can be when they live in a gay bubble.
  12. 'In Cold Blood' -- Truman Capote I read it once a year to remind myself what an incredible talent he was before he became a talkshow couch fixture and 'personality'
  13. I think these cruises cultivate ugly group behaviors in our community
  14. If you're going to be going to the same hotel, again and again, this is a smart idea. If you take care of the valet/front desk, they take care of you. This is from personal experience.
  15. Have you dealt with an Atlantis cruise before?
  16. Eh, you just have to chalk it up to one person with several different personas and far too much free time
  17. I believe that Tipping is a small city in China, but I could be wrong
  18. Actually, you made a statement. Let me refresh you: 'No ass is that fine gentleman'
  19. My main problem is that people are confusing a K-spa with a gay bathouse. Big fucking difference. You want to suck dick and play? Go to the right facility. I don't have time for that bullshit when all I want is a great scrub, some 106 degree water to soak in and a cold plunge.
  20. Open relationships where two guys can talk freely about sex is a healthy, important thing. It's also incredibly rare. Don't ask, don't tell only works for so long.
  21. Black means it's a GI bleed that's further up in the system: Much more dangerous and concerning.
  22. It's easy to remember when you realize it's your life you're talking about. HIV might be more manageable now, but it's still something you don't want to contract. I'd agree that not everyone who says they are on PrEP really are. That's why you always take personal responsibility for your own health- protecting yourself and making sexual decisions based on what you're comfortable with.
  23. Whether you know it or not, most guys bleed when they get fucked. Just because you can't see red doesn't mean it's not there.
  24. They're getting in just under that two-year statute of limitation And yes, this does open the floodgates for problems in the future: Not just for Spacey.
  25. Merm was sheer volume, not intense interpretation She has her place in history, but not on my list. My kind of Rose was either Patti LuPone or Tyne Daly.
