  1. That's now cheap for KW. Try finding a hotel in-season for less than $400/night. It's almost impossible. The little island has now become the big machine, thanks a lot to those damned cruise ships. Locals can't afford to be locals anymore.
  2. The property remains in decent shape. Season is coming up and prices will stay high ($350/night+) at IH through late March. The perks are all still there (included bar during happy hour, 24-hour cafe, porn on room TVs). With fewer and fewer gay B&Bs operating in KW, this is probably the most 'fun and frisky' one of the few left. Due to the price, you don't see a lot of younger gay guys staying there, but they do come in using a day pass. I still say that Alexander's is the winner for best service, solace and design. https://islandhousekeywest.com/ http://www.alexanderskeywest.com/
  3. That first video proves how incredibly foolish people can be when they live in a gay bubble.
  4. 'In Cold Blood' -- Truman Capote I read it once a year to remind myself what an incredible talent he was before he became a talkshow couch fixture and 'personality'
  5. I think these cruises cultivate ugly group behaviors in our community
  6. If you're going to be going to the same hotel, again and again, this is a smart idea. If you take care of the valet/front desk, they take care of you. This is from personal experience.
  7. Have you dealt with an Atlantis cruise before?
  8. Eh, you just have to chalk it up to one person with several different personas and far too much free time
  9. I believe that Tipping is a small city in China, but I could be wrong
  10. Actually, you made a statement. Let me refresh you: 'No ass is that fine gentleman'
  11. My main problem is that people are confusing a K-spa with a gay bathouse. Big fucking difference. You want to suck dick and play? Go to the right facility. I don't have time for that bullshit when all I want is a great scrub, some 106 degree water to soak in and a cold plunge.
  12. Open relationships where two guys can talk freely about sex is a healthy, important thing. It's also incredibly rare. Don't ask, don't tell only works for so long.
  13. Black means it's a GI bleed that's further up in the system: Much more dangerous and concerning.
  14. It's easy to remember when you realize it's your life you're talking about. HIV might be more manageable now, but it's still something you don't want to contract. I'd agree that not everyone who says they are on PrEP really are. That's why you always take personal responsibility for your own health- protecting yourself and making sexual decisions based on what you're comfortable with.
  15. Whether you know it or not, most guys bleed when they get fucked. Just because you can't see red doesn't mean it's not there.
  16. They're getting in just under that two-year statute of limitation And yes, this does open the floodgates for problems in the future: Not just for Spacey.
  17. Merm was sheer volume, not intense interpretation She has her place in history, but not on my list. My kind of Rose was either Patti LuPone or Tyne Daly.
  18. Grindr/Jacked feels like the new CL It's definitely an AYOR kind of deal.
  19. GuysWithiPhones: Amateur guys, muscle and candids (not necessarily porn) are what yank my crank
  20. Devil's advocate: A full-panel test is only as good as the day you get the blood drawn. That leaves a lot of room for error. However, I agree with those here who have said this is a discussion that needs to be had between every provider and client. Safe sex, safer sex, bareback, etc are personal choices. My main concern is that every sex-worker keep updated on blood work and always KNOW THEIR STATUS.
  21. I was involved in the early years of this event, back when it involved mainly escorts (not guys in porn) and the crew at Rentboy. It was fun. Now, it's turned into one-half circuit party (which feels like a dying/dead thing anyway) and one-half studio sponsored advertisement.
  22. This looks so thrown together. And they're still in-fighting about who's producing the 'real' event. Here's the other one... https://www.Hustlaball.com/
  23. I like people who can truly tell the story through a song. A good singer can hit all the notes. A great singer doesn't always have to: They live the song as they sing it. Ann-Hampton Callaway, Marilyn Maye, Judy Garland, Ellen Greene, Edith Piaf, Nell Carter, Lillias White, Frank Sinatra. A ton of others, but these were the people that came to mind immediately.
  24. India is an amazing place. I'm heading back in December, but seeing Agra and New Delhi this time. Mumbai was fascinating and kinetic. If I let local politics affect my yearning to see the world, I'd be like most Americans and just stay in the States.
  25. It's been said it's Apple's best performing screen, ever. I'd agree. The OLED contrast is pretty damned impressive. More RAM = faster, smoother experience. Agreed that the X is a great device: It's what I was coming from before. Unless you want more screen real estate and just knowing you've got Apple's flagship mobile device, it's not really worth the upgrade.
