1. You misread what I wrote. I never said middle America was dictating fashion trends. I said spending trends.
2. If Streisand can do it, so can I
3. Yep. It's a nice selection of Broadway covers. Nice orchestrations that show off her range. Eder has really blossomed into a superb small-room performer. I never thought that would be possible for her.
4. We live in a time where middle-America has never more clearly influenced trends in spending. This will change, as it always does: Luxury spending is cyclical. As for escorts, @rogerG is correct... Those who have the money are still spending it on gentleman callers.
5. My advice is to keep copy simple. If you have great reviews, let them speak for you. Your bigger concern should be updated pictures, showing what you look like at any given time.
6. This could have been easily avoided if the escort was professional/mature enough to have a conversation. If you don't string people along, you won't have to ghost them.
7. This thread is entertaining and useful. Well done guys How I see it: Show loyalty to a brand and the brand will throw you a bone when you need it (ie, a guaranteed late check-out). Same thing goes for building up status with an airline- When the shit hits the fan (and it always does), they take care of their elite first. I also recommend carrying an Amex Platinum, which gives you access to their FHR program: A ton of perks, including 12 noon check-in and 4pm check-out, guaranteed. The card also gives you automatic mid-level status in a number of hotel/car programs. A number of other credit cards offer the same kind of perks: Chase Sapphire Reserve, Capital One Venture, etc.
8. Years ago, I started requiring a small drop of blood from my regulars. It's basically 23&Me, only sluttier.
9. Pre-ordering a 'special' meal with an airline has always been the coach secret to getting much better catering
10. I pay for a lot of my own airfare with guys I'm familiar with: It's just reimbursed on the backend. It makes things easier for everyone and allows me to quickly take care of the travel-end of things. Sure, it requires trust, but if you've spent enough time with someone, it should be a moot point.
11. Be amazed, but don't criticize what others do with their money. It's their prerogative if they want to put a guy in J or F.
12. I'd be fine with just the 'big ass' part. Forget the Ferris Wheel
13. Don't even try that shit with me. If we're all going, we're all riding... And visiting the beer tent. Repeatedly.
14. Bottom line, you have trust in him. He hasn't breached that. Don't overthink this or let others here spook you. Flying guys places requires a small leap of faith. It's part of the deal (and excitement, for some).
15. I bet Linda's wondering right now what the hell she did to her SEO to end up with traffic from this thread.
16. He does, actually. At the last union meeting, we voted him in as our international spokesman.
17. I like Linda's blog better
18. All listing platforms are currently piss-poor. Rentmen is the new Rentboy and it shows. I think that Daddy's Reviews remains the steadfast clearinghouse for reviews, conversation and information. My personal opinion is that it never hurts to show real personality through a social media feed: Guys want to feel they know a little something about you before they pull the trigger. Find your voice, make it entertaining and put it out there. Don't make the mistake of only selling yourself as a piece of meat. You reap what you sow.
19. Tell me you've spent time at Cedar Point. I love that park.
20. Aside from the (intentional?) misspelling, I love this name. And the comments here
21. Based on a lot of PS being on fixed incomes, I don't think any of the resorts are a place to drum up business. The out of town guests at the resorts are there to possibly hook up, but not pay for it. This would be as unusual as seeing an escort trying to work an American-based bathhouse. I say this as someone who's spend a fair amount of time in PS, as well as Key West, another city that has several gay B&Bs. (However, I could be wrong on this... For his sake, I hope I am)
22. Wow. She's still got it. Nice pipes. While she's getting much older now, I'd put Shirley Bassey in that same category: In her late 70's, she took centerstage at the Oscars and basically schooled every younger singer on how to still have that mic-drop moment. She came. She saw. She belted.
23. I kinda prefer to think of the Golden Girls as timeless. How about 'Rosalind Russell caftans' instead? The judges would also accept 'Agnes Moorehead' as a suitable alternative.
24. I had a few friends who went and shared their video. I admit, I've never been one of her adoring fans. Her films are fine. The voice, in her prime, was thrilling. Years of living in a bubble have made her a caricature... A bit like Cher, but without the no-bullshit self-awareness. Her voice is now an airy head/chest mix, never really going into that powerful original belt. There's more shtick in her act than there's ever been. I did find some of her stories entertaining. Bottom line: She has an audience who wants to see her. I respect that. For me personally, I want to see singers who still really have it: Who get up there, deliver and absolutely stun you with their vocal.
