1. Orlando hasn't had known-quality since Aaron & Blake
2. I'm a vers/top. Meaning: I like to fuck, but now and then I want something in my ass too.
3. I agree that expectation today is a very usual thing. It's not raising a crop of highly independent young people. My parents were financially able to put me through any amount of higher education, but told us from a young age that it was our obligation to figure out how to make it happen. We were not given anything: We were expected to earn it ourselves. I worked as soon as I turned 16. I was on full scholarship for undergrad. Thankfully, I was able to pay for grad school out of pocket. I wouldn't trade the most difficult financial times in my life for anything. They made me the person I am today.
4. Was in Bangkok last week and gotta agree with a lot of the ol' timers that it's definitely not what it used to be. The gogo and sex shows have always been robotic and not even remotely sexy, but now it feels as if the visual selection of guys is scraping the bottom of the barrel. Was out and about for a few nights and didn't see one truly attractive looking gent. The Grindr scene, however, is insane. If you're into hot Asian guys, your cup runneth over.
5. You damn well better not put me in the Blue Ranger's outfit. EVERYONE KNOWS I'M THE RED RANGER.
6. You'd be shocked at how many of us have full authentic goat herder outfits, complete with Bo Peep cane.
7. CLEAR is great and a deal if you provide them with a DL Skymiles number. $99 a year, methinks. Cheaper if you're an elite- or free, depending on how high your status. If you're near an airport (or arena) that uses CLEAR, they're convenient and easy. I've kept a legacy membership since the beginning and it's served me well, especially with PreCheck lines becoming increasingly more long. To those who said the Amex Plat comes with Global Entry and/or PreCheck: Sorta, but not exactly. It's a statement reimbursement and only if you qualify for the program. Many people end up getting turned down by GE after the interview (and background check).
8. First off, if you're going to a gym based on how much play you're going to get in the locker room, just find a bathhouse. Second, NYC is expensive. There's no such thing as a 'cheap' gym. Even NYSC and 24 Hour Fitness run $50+ a month. TMPL has awful online reviews and multiple contract and billing issues. They had their water shut off a few months ago. I wouldn't touch that gym with a ten foot pole. It's all sizzle and no steak. Equinox is expensive because it's a good gym. You can buy into one, specific location and lower the price. Love Chelsea Piers: It is gigantic. Lots of room. You can get a great workout there. If you're wanting it cheap and open all the time, I'd recommend Planet Fitness.
9. Thankfully, the worst of the trolls are either dead or have (again) changed screen names. The moderators of this board have cleaned things up considerably. It's a welcome change from the past.
10. I agree. NYC is tough to explain in words. There are few other US markets like it. Now, if you're talking equally as tricky cities worldwide: Singapore, London, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Sydney, Rio and Buenos Aires all come to mind.
11. Today, Daddy's M4M is drastically more calm and collected than when HB was alive. What was once the Wild West has now settled into a steady, collaborative conversation.
12. I've always disliked toys in me. No bueno. Plus, getting used to the way a vibrator feels vs the way actually getting fucked feels is something I never wanted to get used to.
13. There's nothing worse than a guy with a developed upper body and no legs or ass. Literally... There should be law against it.
14. Fire Island, aside from many of the older homeowners, has turned into the worst version of itself. The Pines is now just another Chelsea, where instead of relaxing and forming real community, guys are bringing along the NYC gay caste system. It's unfortunate.
15. NYC and LA are oversaturated, high-cost-of-living markets. If you're wanting to solely escort and not just use it as supplemental income, I wouldn't consider either city a smart move. First and foremost, try to figure out which city will be best for you, personally. A city that offers you more nurturing than what you've got now.
16. I'm all for having gay pride, but most of what goes on at today's 'pride' events is nothing more than Halloween on steroids.
17. ... But what about the thought of getting fucked by Laurie Metcalf?
18. While @peterhung85 works on his sexy blog, I decided to update 15MM... Enjoy! 15MinutesMore.com
19. Oh dear god... They're letting Madonna out of her gilded cage to perform.
20. Bingo. Now others are chiming in and it's becoming more personal. This thread should never have been created.
21. Ah, great song... And still a piano bar staple Heard one of the singers at Don't Tell Mama Vegas sing it a couple of weeks ago.
22. Sidetracking a bit... Marin's talent was incredible with a personality and genuine warmth to match. I felt lucky to have spent time with her on several occasions: She and Jason would come to Key West frequently, to help do fundraisers for local theaters. Having heard her in the OBC of Ragtime, it was the first time I had heard her sing Back To Before in a small room with only a piano. It was truly magical. That voice was a damned force of nature. Her vowel placement was beautiful.
23. You handled this well. What you posted didn't come across as a personal dig, but simply as contrary to what others said. No harm in that. If there's one thing I've learned in escorting, it's that no matter how hard you try, perfection is impossible and at some point you're going to let someone down. A massive string of glowing reviews is as much a negative as it is a positive. The best of us try not to show we're having off days, but it happens.
24. I just may... And I might even be sitting near you
