  1. I understand (and commiserate with) the comment, but being an AA elite, we've dealt with EQD and rolling spend priority for awhile now. It's the new normal across the industry. That said, I'm fine with it. Airlines realize that their programs have gotten too bloated with people who have earned their statues through credit card spend and other non-BIS (butt in seat) avenues. With this being the case, it tries to spread elite benefits too thin to too many flyers. Thinning the ranks is good, for all programs, at this point. As for mileage devaluation, that's always been the case. Always. Since day one of any program. I think of airline miles like I think of mileage on a vehicle... The sooner you trade it in, the better. Cars rarely appreciate. Same with FF mileage. Use those miles as soon as you can. The days of banking them for years is over.
  2. Nothing except for surgery will tighten-up loose skin. What lasers do well is keep sun damage, skin texture and skin tone/pigmentation in-check. Mildly sagging skin can be fixed or minimized by a skilled injector with various versions of HA filler. When skin gets to a point where it begins to look extremely loose or 'jowely,' it's time to consider a mini-lift, brow lift or the whole enchilada facelift. A less-invasive stop gap that can produce good results on a soft jawline is the threadlift.
  3. I gotcha covered... Gallagher's on 52nd. Classic, delicious. I love Frankie & Johnnie's because it's got good memories for me and is easy to do pre or post-show. Palm Too on 2nd. Less crowded than theatreland and all the charm of the now-closed original across the street. Delmonicos on Beaver Some of my favorite places I've had steak aren't really steakhouses. La Boite en Bois serves a mean steak au poivre and Raos in Harlem does an italian-style steak at least once a week on special.
  4. Was this an Applebees-type of place or a higher-end spot? With mass chains, they're now being trained to turn-and-burn. Get em' in, get em' out.
  5. PL used to be great... A long, long time ago. Too many great steakhouses in Manhattan to even consider Luger.
  6. One more thing... Dermal lasers are changing the game: If you can do quarterly treatments, it's a great investment in your skin and how it ages.
  7. Tons of water is a good start. Sleep. Exercise. Limit sun. Moderate, healthy eating. A good plastic surgeon and derma help, even if they aren't doing hardcore work. Skincare topicals only go so far. Korean skincare give you the most bang for your buck. Aging is inevitable, but too many escorts don't do themselves any favors with drugs, alcohol, sun and steroids.
  8. Unless it's something highly illegal, who cares what's on your laptop when you die?
  9. She needs wifi for this. It's the easiest way. I'd suggest https://store.google.com/us/product/nest_cam?hl=en-US. I've used them for years, they're rock solid and the quality of image/sound is fantastic. Arlo, which I've also used, offers a cam over mobile data. It's not a robust as Nest, but it might serve your needs well. https://www.arlo.com/en-us/products/arlo-go/default.aspx
  10. Being called 'Sir' in relation to an escort-client communication can be fucking sexy
  11. As long as you're well-insured and refused to be breathalyzed, I think you'll be fine. ... Wait a sec I thought you said running over an escort in public.
  12. Generic compounding isn't really a thing, as it's a specifically-tailored formula for that exact person. It should really always be done locally. Also, would you really want to inject an off-brand compound, mixed in an unknown place, into your dick? Survey says... No. I bet that the insurance co will fallback on there being non-compound drugs that can get the job done. They'll also, as others here have said, say that functional sex is not a medical need. I get that Trimix is about speed, but if you can learn to live with oral medications, you'll have an easier time staying covered.
  13. This sounds like an essay excerpt from The New York Times Magazine But seriously, I get it. I've spent a considerable amount of time around pilots and they, verbatim, say the same thing. Flying (piloting) is a need, a yearning and something they knew they would do from a very young age. I find that really fascinating. I mean, most people don't even know what they're doing for lunch tomorrow, much less learning to fly a plane. Just remember, if you can't be an athlete, be an athletic supporter: You can always remain close to the industry by going to things like Oshkosh. A friend of mine who can no longer pass medicals to fly now hits all the big airshows in order to stay connected.
  14. Re: Eagles I will say that the Eagle Blue in Tokyo was a fun place for a few drinks. Tokyo is one of the few cities in the world to have two Eagles.
  15. With a proper West Side Story revival coming in just a month or so, I can't say I'm sad to see this OK go.
  16. He sounds charming
  17. Thanks to the Vegas shooting, keycard access is going to ramp up and won't be going away anytime soon
  18. Daddy has been asking for a wider variety of reviews for awhile now
  19. Just because you're not getting the upgrade doesn't mean there aren't UA elites who are. Rolling spend priority means you never quite know if you're the top-top-top of elite or just the top Are you pre-confirming all of your upgrades/available fare-class through ExpertFlyer?
  20. Clearly, you have an affinity for Merm and that's fine. We have differing opinions. Let it be.
  21. What does it mean when my Grindr flashes an orange 'Service Soon' light on my profile page?
  22. Reviews are only one journalist's opinion. While I didn't see Merm, as she was well before my time, I did see Tyne as a kid. Frankly, in my opinion, LuPone beat the shit out of all of them when she did the last revival. We can agree to disagree. That's the wonderful thing about art
  23. Her acting was very broad. She certainly didn't have the nuance that Tyne Daly did when she took on Rose. Merman had a distinct sound: It was her trademark and it worked. Same went for Carol Channing, Liza Minnelli, Rex Harrison and Gwen Verdon. Broadway today might be better trained, but it's a blurry collection of bland leading players.
  24. Honestly, if you're hiring escorts, you need to be on PrEP. No, it's not 100%, but when used properly, it takes care of the big leagues. Most everything else you can get vaccinations or antibiotics for. Post-exposure would be PEP https://www.cdc.gov/hiv/basics/pep.html Bottom line, a lot of well-known guys say they 'don't regularly do that,' but do. It's becoming a badly-kept secret.
  25. Now is the time to earn status with UA, as the program will hemorrhage frequent fliers who can't make the spend. That makes for less competition on upgrades. Like all of the big 3, they're cutting the fat right now and the long-timers who made status on credit cards, promo offers and mistake fares are getting shown to the exit. If the spend won't hurt you, I'd say go for it. American is doing the same thing: I just got an invite back to Concierge Key through Jan 2021, but it took a lot more long-haul travel than in the past. However, for the amount of time I'm in airports and planes, it's worth it to me.
