  1. Correct. It's known in the industry as a soft-pull. (I'll wait for the snickering to die down) Credit scoring is confusing and secretive because it makes the Big Three a lot of money. A shit ton, actually. In turn, they lobby politicians for a mostly hands off approach unless it's flagrant things like the 2017 Equifax breach. Even then, they ended up skirting major sanctions and paid out $425 million to a fund that will mostly be drained by class-action attorney's fees.
  2. GOD DEFEND NEW ZEALAND! But seriously, you're a happy, positive influence. In the words of Curtis Mayfield:
  3. This. They have zero clue on making great first impressions, being fluent in a wide variety of conversational topics, closing in a clutch situation and simply faking it well in the event they're in over their heads. They either don't care or it reads on them like a large-print book. It's depressing and a big reason why I don't normally have many 20s guys in my circle of friends.
  4. Cirque is royally fucked at the moment. Starting with a default on an interest payment, they're about to be taken over by hostile measures as they're now $900 million in debt, having fired 80% of their employees with zero shows running. It's truly sad. So many incredible, creative people out of work.
  5. Retirement means not needing to worry so much about FICO. Especially, as the FICO scoring model you see on most consumer websites is only one of 50. Yes... 50. Insane. As @Pensant said, over 800 and you're getting prime rates anyway. Don't worry about the numbers.
  6. Well, until there's a vaccine, it's a ZOOM-based class with mandatory participation. Grading is on a butt-curve, not a bell.
  7. THE PSYCHOLOGY OF EATING ASS 101. I believe that's now a option for those going the University of Phoenix route.
  8. Bottom line, it's not how old you are, but how old you LOOK. Self-care... It's a real thing. Especially when you're in a looks-based biz

  14. But that wasn't in your original post. You said NYC or anywhere. You edited it to be more specific... And that's fine. Happy hunting

  18. https://www.hulu.com/series/the-great-238db0d4-c476-47ed-9bee-d326fd302f7d Wickedly funny, smart and even a little sexy. If you haven't seen this one yet, it's worth a watch.
  19. I'll echo the use of the app 'Burner.' It's simple and effective. That said, realize that in this world of web, many escorts can easily identify you in ways you never imagined. You leave a digital footprint everywhere and it's become nearly impossible to remain totally anonymous. My advice is, yes, to be careful, but find some guys you can actually trust. Much of escorting requires some initial leap of faith. While I don't see a lot of new faces anymore, I remember when I did... And the guys who worked double-time to conceal and protect ended up being a lot more work, a lot less personable and not really worth the added effort for me.
  20. Every airline is trying desperately to hold onto their available cash right now. While that's not an excuse to make it difficult for your customer to get a refund, it does require more patience than usual and some amount of knowing the system and your rights as a ticketed pax. If DL cannot or will not refund, I'd suggest filing a formal complaint with the DOT. Airlines tend to perk up when they're put on notice. If you do go this route, I'd also recommend telling them- through a Twitter DM- that you did this. It's usually the catalyst that get them to take immediate action. Save all conversations and screenshot any communication. https://www.transportation.gov/individuals/aviation-consumer-protection/refunds
  21. No. This is classic Don't shoot the messenger Even a broken clock is right twice a day: This escort could be perfectly capable of a decent performance or, perhaps, it was everything being in perfect alignment for the meet to happen as it did. Either way, you're clearly taking a risk here. This and other threads have been more than enough warning.
  22. Well, howdy. I've never worked independently in the DF, but think that CDMX is one of the most spectacular cities in the world. That said, there's a penchant for the light hair/eyes guy there (the 'all-American' look as I was told), as much of the city is dark hair/eyes. I can't say for sure how successful an independent visit would be, but there's no lack of things to do in the event a dance card doesn't fill up. I go every 40-60 days. I stay for 4-5 days at a time. I always feel safe, but a lot of that comes from speaking Spanish and being able to communicate on a local level. Eat a lot. Drink a lot. Dance a lot. It's an energetic, friendly city. Oh, and the weather is awesome.

  24. I'd suggest people do a little more digging into their own history before joining a very public, persona-driven business. Even Facebook has recently made deleting a chekered past a lot easier: https://www.vox.com/recode/2020/6/2/21276974/facebook-manage-activity
  25. Preference is fine. Making someone feel 'less than' for something they cannot change is not. My point? If you're an escort, be savvy enough to not be an asshole in how you handle your 'preferences' Be professional. Be kind. Be gentle. If an escort is open and proud in how they discriminate, then I fully support going for the jugular.
