Quit. Making. Excuses. Side gig or not, you can still treat people with respect and professional courtesy. This guy has left and come back more than the McRib. Buyer beware.

No. I don't really understand. Business is business: Say what you mean, mean what you say. Be professional. Act with integrity. In my 20s, I showed up, everytime. Now, in my 30s, I still show up. That's why we're hired. That's why people have trust. Quit making excuses for providers who don't respect the business or your time.

That's not reactivating... It's starting from scratch. It's the mark of a coward.

is making an initial donation offer appropriate?
+ BenjaminNicholas replied to + DrownedBoy's topic in Questions About Hiring
Whether you like it or not, the standard practice is to ask him for his rate for time. This is not a flea market: Never forget you're dealing with human beings. Treat those as you wish to be treated. -
A superb show. No weak links. They didn't pander and did a fantastic job being honest to the era.

I think I can help you out with that... image hosting

I'd be a lot more interested in this shit if they were wearing shoulder pads and throwing each other into public fountains.

You have problems... I have solutions.

Not only do I have the short '80s OP shorts, ringer socks and reebok sneakers ready, I might even have a neon sweatband around here somewhere.

Blacklist sites exist and while I'm sure there are a contingent of people who post with malintent, it does serve purpose for the working guys who have been beaten, drugged, raped, stolen from, stiffed, etc. That's all aside from the private conversations that happen between escorts. As I was told growing up, if you're not doing anything bad, you've usually got little to worry about. My advice is that if you have a lot to lose, make educated choices in the company you keep and think several steps ahead in the event you need to extract yourself from a bad situation. I've known guys who have had their lives turned upside-down by blacklists.

With that headline, you're sure to get the attention you clearly want so badly.

Florida is fine, but are you willing to look at other, better beach cities, like in Mexico? Cancun, Playa and Vallarta are all fun. Vallarta is especially gay friendly with relaxing beaches, beautiful homes for rent and great nightlife. Santa Monica/Malibu are also great while close to the nightlife of LA. Added bonus is the lack of sweltering heat. Ptown is nice with a wide variety of ages. Their big parties this year are canceled, but a lot of the performers are still on schedule to do their thing. Fire Island, not so much. Love their beaches and the general aesthetic, but people's attitude that drifts over from the city is what keeps me from going there more often. Also, don't discount Colombia. Cartagena is beautiful, easy to get to from the States, inexpensive and gay friendly.

Are protest actions affecting your business?
+ BenjaminNicholas replied to Trick's topic in Questions About Hiring
It hasn't hit my bottom line, but sadly, parts of Dallas are warzones right now. Uptown and Downtown are full of rioters at night: Looting, glass breaking, violence, fire-starting. It's a mess. -
When are you willing to hire again?
+ BenjaminNicholas replied to + keroscenefire's topic in The Deli
So.... The time was right when the price was cheap. Long story short, you made your choice. Good for you. -
You didn't spit on it enough. Here, let me help... A recent snapshot: I repeat: NEVER. SKIP. LEGS. DAY.

That's sorta my point. Desperate guys do desperate things (not you, but them). They were on late night, clearly needed cash and were willing to play Let's Make A Deal. That's not a standard, normal data point. It involves extenuating circumstance. When you're getting routine offers- at all hours- for cheaper rates, especially from established, reviewed guys, then it becomes a lot more than just a singular data point. Then, it could be headed towards the new normal. ... We shall see

First Golds. Now 24HR. If you're at a mid-level chain gym, I'd keep tabs on their liquidity and be ready to chargeback at a moment's notice. I've heard that Lifetime Fitness is next.

If guys pay, they get an ad up. There's really not any Presidential exploratory committee rules at play here

I mean, you're cruising profiles at 2 am, having quick chats with escorts who are instantly willing to discount. While highly empirical, this is all qualitative: The unique conditions say more about the response you're getting than it being the new statistical norm. It would take a broader spectrum of contact/responses in a wider variety of cities to make me think it's something more.

Have hotel protocols affected incalls at hotels?
+ BenjaminNicholas replied to Nibs's topic in Questions About Hiring
Hotels don't want to upset their guests, especially if those guests are loyal elites. Sure, there are new protocols in place, but most of them are just window-dressing. Easily bypassed with a little planning. -
A Versatile/Bottom - How Versatile?
+ BenjaminNicholas replied to Daverwr's topic in Questions About Hiring
Cue the multitude of posts claiming that anyone who is 'versatile' must be a bottom-in-disguise. Versatile means I get fucked and I also fuck. Be straight forward and tell them what you prefer and what you're wanting. Communicate, confirm, repeat... We really need t-shirts and bumper stickers here. -
A reminder why we can't risk exposure to Covid 19
+ BenjaminNicholas replied to Old Blue's topic in Men's Health
I mean, that's fine and dandy, but what version of the test was it: Viral or antibody? Bottom line, his status could easily change tonight, tomorrow or the next day. It's basic PR window-dressing to post results like this to try to make people think he's fine. -
Okay, okay... White spandex and unsubstantiated property tax increases annoy me more.
