  1. Ah yes, the tried-and-true Pacino HOOOO-HAAAAA that he perfected in Scent Of A Woman.
  2. You're very kind, thank you. I much prefer 'a legend in my own mind' and now that I've got a Gloria Swanson staircase, it makes dramatic entrances and exits a lot more fun.
  3. How would you spell WHORE so that it sounds appropriately Jersey when shouted across a busy restaurant?
  4. The Duncan property would be lovely as the museum, but alas, they didn't get to it quickly enough. Just as long as it's not turned into an Airbnb.
  5. Yessir. https://www.amazon.com/Behind-Candelabra-My-Life-Liberace/dp/0525246533/ref=tmm_hrd_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=1638149184&sr=8-1
  6. The book was a lot better. Thorson explains a LOT about that life, but also about his life before and after. An incredibly sad story, all the way around, but fascinating and odd.
  7. OP said 'rack rate,' not average.
  8. I just came here to find out what level of scenery chewing Pacino was doing in this film. Like, are we talking a low-level simmer Heat kind of thing or was he going full tilt Devil's Advocate.
  9. There's an old saying that rings true for this topic. It's not what you say, but how you say it. Of course an escort makes choices in his clientele. Everyone has preferences, limits and lines. However, it's HOW you say 'no, thank you' that separates a great escort from just another five-and-dime hooker. You never go out of your way to make someone feel less-than. You spare people's feelings, always. We're in the business of making people feel great and it defeats the purpose if we act like we're cruising Grindr.
  10. The Kspa scene is strong in boroughs. This list might need updating, but it's a start. YMMV. https://www.timeout.com/newyork/health-and-beauty/find-a-great-korean-spa-in-nyc
  11. I truly believe seeing the current Broadway revival cast of Company killed him. It damn near killed me.
  12. Production value was still better than the last 30 years of Andrew Lloyd Webber shows.
  13. Here in PV now. It's quiet. I think things will get crazier for Christmas into NYE, but for now, I'm enjoying this relative peace.
  14. This is an astute observation. I'd agree that very few OF guys make six-figure incomes and even fewer understand the tax implications. As the Biden admin puts more money back into the agency, you're going to see a lot of OF creators get certified letters regarding unpaid debts. OF worked well for some in the beginning, but the bloom is falling off that rose and increasing demands from credit card companies will change the way business is done in the future. It'll be interesting to see how they adapt.
  15. Perhaps I need to tweak my radar.
  16. A joke usually involves an actual punchline. I'd have used a smiley to indicate.
  17. What a foolish, sad comment. We're talking an X... Not an Bentyaga.
  18. Wow. This thread turned into a race to the bottom rather quickly, didn't it. For the guys who have cultivated clientele, the demand remains strong. Not negotiating and saying 'no' because you can is still the greatest power an escort has.
  19. Good news: RM is rumored to be going to the Dewey Decimal system in 2022
  20. While I'm all for progress, I think Tesla is a company who throws shit against the wall to see what sticks. Using a multitude of drivers on public roads as beta-testers will remain problematic. https://www.theverge.com/2021/11/12/22778135/tesla-full-self-driving-beta-crash-fsd-california
  21. As a carmaker who only has about a decade of experience and just a few years of true popularity, Tesla's real issue is the speed at which they're making vehicles and their fit & finish because of it. I don't know one person who hasn't seen rough edges in their build when delivered.
  22. PEOPLE are whores. It's not intrinsic to Americans.
  23. For a short time growing up, we lived in the same building as Tennessee and my dad would run into him in the elevator. While I was entirely too young to be considered, the stories of him (mercilessly) hitting on my father became famous in my family.
