  1. The first thing out of my dear departed mother's mouth in a phone conversation was "What's wrong?" I loved her very much but that drove me nuts.
  2. I'll often answer that with "Yes, and that was it. Thanks for asking". Well, only with people I know well enough to joke with. :-)
  3. is this who you're talking about?
  4. My feelings exactly. Following Jodie Foster is a difficult task. I couldn't tell if Thomas Harris (author of the books) is involved with the series at all.
  5. The local paper's sport pages occasionally are worth checking out:
  6. ...and the shower drain. Pour 1/4 cup of baking soda over the drain, then pour vinegar over it until it stops bubbling.
  7. No nudity in my house growing up. Dad slept in just pajama tops, but always dressed before coming out of the bedroom.
  8. I've put much thought into it, and if I could pick a superpower, it'd be teleportation. I love the "Jumper" books; the movie, not so much. A Larry Niven fantasy story had a guy ask a genie for Eternal Health, not immortality.
  9. my one-and-only saved Rentmen search is "young hairy uncut tops". 'nuff said.
  10. Proofreading, editing. I'm a good writer in general but having no good ideas for stories, I am limited to easily-readable technical documentation.
  11. I do too! No expert, but I made a friend a Counselor Troi dress for a Halloween party. She brought a friend over during the fitting, apparently she hadn't guessed that I was gay. I made myself a Trek uniform (the ones they debuted in "Wrath of Khan"), I do not fit into it at all any more.
  12. Drinking with some friends at a bar after work and one guy asked "Does pubic hair turn white?" I answered "I think it just falls out."
  13. Years ago, I read that porn star Kurt Stefano mostly bottomed because he was straight and had trouble getting hard in a guy-guy scene.
  14. I've been there on the client's side. I don't remember the guy's name off the top of my head, but we tried hard and it just wasn't happening.
  15. Wow, he's perfect. He could be Jimmy Fanz's brother.
  16. I've stopped a couple times when I see stray dogs wandering the street. There was one wandering my neighborhood, I took her in my back yard & called the number on her tag. Turned out it lived two houses down, I didn't even know that family had a dog.
  17. Bridget Loves Bernie.
  18. I wouldn't be down for anything with a woman involved, but there are two bisexual scenes that are among my favorites, for some reason. Both are Corbin Fisher, one's Tom & Kellan - Kellan is fucking the girl while Tom watches, and Tom joins in so Kellan is alternately fucking the girl and Tom's mouth. Once Kellan comes, Tom flips him over on his back and starts fucking him, much to Kellan's surprise. The other is Bryan (Cavallo) and Vince, it ends with Bryan on his back with Vince fucking him; I think the girl is stroking Bryan's cock.

  20. He escorted for a short time, in Michigan, before he did porn I believe; I regret never hiring him.
  21. Dorothy Parker was indeed the queen of quotable lines, but I think RealAvalon is correct in that one's not hers.
  22. I'm pretty sure he's forgotten his dance belt. Those things obscure everything.
  23. I had a friend who said he remembered the Kennedy assassination, which would have been when he was 2 years old. He didn't remember much, just a lot of the adults being sad. I wasn't sure if I believed him.
  24. True, we were running CP/M on Intertec Superbrains. Getting the hard drive that connected to all six machines in the office was a huge step up from 5" floppy disks. This was 1981 or so. width=322pxhttps://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/40/Intertec_Superbrain.jpg[/img]
  25. I wish they still had dot-matrix printers that handled continuous-form paper (with the little holes on the side on the perforated strip you could remove). For reading computer programs, that was the best.
